Transformers movie

Post by shadow dancer »

For those that like Transformers, it looks like the producers of X-Men and LXG are teaming up to make a movie.

Dude. I don't see how anything, live-action or otherwise, could be as good as the original Transformers flick. I love that damn movie. It's the best piece of animation ever. Period. I don't care if you disagree with me! Fuck off!

Autobots, roll out!

Ok...so i'm a dork, but I always liked the Transformers. I even have some cool techno mixes of Transformers music. A movie would kick ass.

The original Transformer cartoons were cool. I have to say that I am curious to see what the producers do with this movie and how they are going to pull it off. It's very hard for me to imagine that they can actually achieve success with it, but who knows? I think it surprises me more that Hasbro has allowed the making of it, but I'm sure that it will probably result in selling more toys and comic books.

Sorry......there is only one person who will be looking at me naked on any bed  I'm sure my friend Jenny in Atlanta will accommodate you however. Just make sure you know what you are getting yourself into, she isn't for the mild mannered soul.

DIIEEEE AUTOBOTS!!!

(hehe)

Jennifer..how in the world did you know about that Bigbot.com site, huh? I mean-i go there-but i'm a transformers geek (remember all the stupid shirts i wear, lol)
As far as the upcoming movie i pray they get the original voive actors for Megatron (frank whelker) and Prime (peter cullen)
They're still alive.
Here's an interesting petition:http://www.petitiononline.com/TFMOVIE/petition.html which just started.

However, I think Starscreams (chris latta) is dead. Unicrons (orsin welles) dead. Ultra Magnus (robert stack) dead. It's like the transformers movie curse.
But still-"dare to be stupid" ok, that's a bit whak, So's "You Got The Touch" (which was also heard in boogie nights, heh)
But the original TF:the Movie is pretty bad ass.
I mean the first 30 minutes rock...it's why Megatron is my idol, lol.
Ahem, anyway.
I hope for this new one they don't focus on the "Human Factor" to save money like the hulk and spiderman have.
My money is on a recreation of the first 3 episodes.
Well, thanks for posting that I was going to post, Shadowdancer-but i didn't think anyone would care-now i'm glad you did!

Scatman Crothers ( Jazz ) is also deceased. Casey Kasem ( Cliffjumper ) is still around though.

I own this movie soundtrack as well. I like the instrumentals the best. I was amused to hear the Stan Bush song in "Boogie Nights". I think I was the only one in the theatre who laughed when Dirk started singing that. I even have the music video for that song taped. The dude has the Rush lead singer hair style going on. Stan Bush is playing his guitar in front of scenes from the movie. It's great!

As for the movie, it really depends how much the studio will put in the budget. I think robots and machines are much easier to pull off on CGI as opposed to something like a dog, ex. Scooby Doo, or the Hulk. However, as much as I hated Jar-jar's character, he was rendered well, same goes for Watoo. But Lucas dished out the dough for those.
