The Literary Origins of Gothic Culture

Post by JaNell »

Here's a few good sites to start researching the classic literature from whence this scene has sprung, via movies and music...

Another good resource is the Voice of the Shuttle. I don't have the main URL but you can search for it on yahoo and get it. Its helped me in my gothic literature writing and for my other English papers. One of the first gothic novels I would recommend is Ann Radcliffe's "Romance of the Forest" I enjoyed it. I'm wanting to read "Mysteries of Udolpho" next.

I just got that in the mail yesterday. And to make a suggestion, http://www.bookcloseouts.com is having a ridiculous sale on books. I bought most of them for $3 or less.
Sure, I'll try to be nicer, if you try to be smarter.
