Absolutely outstanding, Johnny Depp shines in a spectacular role, the effects were amazing and the storyline wasn't half bad. But it was a Disney film, I think it would have done much better under Miramax with an R rating :mrgreen:

The Fallen gives Pirates of the Carribean a hearty 4 out of 5 staples...

It was weird how Sparrow's movements reminded me of Hunter S. Thompson's in Fear and Loathing....

Yeah enjoyed this one, better than T3, Johnny Depp makes the movie, its just a bunch of crazy pirate fun not much depth but thats ok.

I made the mistake of reading an interview with Depp just before seeing the movie... he said he put Kieth Richards and Peppy Le Pew into Jack Sparrow. So I saw those two the whole movie. However it was an excelent film and being a bit of a Disney fan as well myself, I give it many-a big toes up! (hehe) Oh, and I give Orli Bloom and Geofry Rush lotsa cudos too, it's always hard to shine through and a Disney film, and all three main actors did so excelently!!!

Saw it...twice now, actually. It's a no brainer, but it's a hell of a lot of fun.

The end was way too Disney, was tellin my date as we watched the 3 surrounded by the guard, the governor and Norrington, I said "Norrington should have just ordered all 3 of em shot, realism damnit, not sappy Disney crap" :twisted:

Love Johnny. Always like a man who is ballsy enough to put on makeup, and I really think he deserved it everytime he got slapped. Probably should've been smacked around a little more. :lup:

There was no end to Depp's yumminess in this movie. Part of his appeal to me is just the strange beauty of the roles he chooses, and what he does with them.

Then there's the eyes.
