Tri-State Gothic (revisited)
Thanks to some hard work from a talented webdesigner, SilentMartyr, and the assistance of an ever omnipotent DarkVader (I owe you big vader... :p) Tri-State gothic is up and running again permanantly and will soon be better than ever. It is under heavy construction and will be updated almost daily... Swing on over give the forum a test drive, and let us know what you think needs done to the site and to the forum... We are trying to get a local thing going on down here (just cuz we wanna be like you folks because you are so great)... So stop by, say hello, and check back, everyone is welcome, and especially those near by(we need as much local support as we can get)... Cheers...

Sorry, I've been a bit distracted trying to iron out a login problem with Internet Explorer... The link is http://www.tristategothic.com
If you are using Internet Explorer, I've been getting reports of it choking on the cookies... You log in, it logs you out as soon as you click something... no prob with netscape or mozilla though... Weird...

Hardly... I love KG, otherwise I wouldn't be going to this much trouble... It's one of those things were there are people from Nashville Gothic on KG and and vice versus, I just wanted to have something local, and no it's not an attempt at merging I just live 2-3 minutes away from all three states thus the "Tri-State area". Joo know I love Joo guys... This is just a push in the right direction for our area, that's why it's gonna have about 50k links to KG...
As for the log in problem it seems to just occur on Internet Explorer, but I could be mistaken... I'm trying as we speak to find a patch for it. Hopefully, I'll have the bugs ironed out tomorrow, or I will have to switch to new board software...
Cheers...

On the nose littlepockit... I live less than tree minutes away from the other two... BTW the forum is fixed... I yanked the yabbse (as there was a lot of people having the cookie problem and there was not working fix for it) and swithched to phpbb... So the majority of the buggs with the forum are fixed... Cheers...

WOW! Yer from Harrogate,eh?
I'm from New Tazewell. Well, Don't expect me to ever admit to that ever again.
Glad to see that there is somewhat of a scene there.
Back when I lived there the "scene" consisted of three friends and myself...Hence we moved to Knoxville.
But, that was ages ago. Damn...to think about it 9 years IS a long time ago...FEh...now I feel old.
Glad to hear that you are trying to get a board up and running there. Kudos!
But, ya know...Knoxvegas isn't really that far away.
BTW~ Does Middlesboro still smell funny? Just curious.

What!?! No strange inexplicable tannery stench? Or whatever that was? I cannot believe this! I'm gonna have to go get my homies together and check it out. Can you still smoke in the mall? I always thought that to be a riot. Just walking down the mall smokin up..I meant cigarettes..honest.
So, YAY! Avatars....Oh waitaminute....The sites down. Damn.

We had a BAD storm pass (rip?) through the area and it took out my battery backup and another power source... I have another power source, but it looks as though I'm off to buy another battery backup... geez... Strangely enough, it didn't effect the router or the cable modem plugged into the same plug but different power strip... Anyhoo, it is up and running again as of 23:00 sans the battery backup... (which means it will probably be down again soon because it has no power backup supply...)
