Guess that makes you *so* much better than anyone that has. Got a platinum goth card?

Sorry, anything you can buy online is MAINSTREAM. Start making all your clothes and then you can act original.

I tend to like a lot of different styles of clothing, so I can't ever seem to find *favorite* websites; however, this compilation one has kept me busy for hours upon hours. It depends on what I'm looking for and what mood I'm in which links I tend to hit off it. I have to thank the Captain himself for this one, although I don't think my bank account feels the same way. LOL

Currently, I'm eyeing a dress off this website.

Hey! Don't blame me too much. My bank account made me do it to alieviate my own guilt.

For Classicists like myself you might try:

http://theringlord.com/sca/merchants/Leather.html
http://www.leatherworks.com/
http://www.therowantree.com/

When they are online this one is good:

http://www.batgearbeyond.com/
http://www.darklinks.com/

For hardcores who make their own stuff (Miz Buttah!)

http://www.nativeweb.org/resources/craf ... s_sources/

http://www.larp.com/midgard/medsuppl.htm

and most importantly:

http://www.geocities.com/ursulastuff/sewtips.html

Please, be careful with Dark Angel. I have seen them get some bad reviews due to customer service issues.

To be honest with you, I've been looking at it for the last two years, and the issues that you mentioned are the only reason that I haven't ordered it yet. I had a really bad experience with Drac-in-a-Box from UK. I ordered a dress from them in March of last year for which I was told I should have it in 4-6 weeks via email. Approximately 8 months later, the package arrived with a gift certificate for 10 Pounds for the late delivery. No reason or email was sent for the delay. Needless to say, I am extremely leery of ordering anything from overseas now. On the flip side, I have had great response out of Black Rose who is also in the UK.

Well, that's just great. I've been thinking about ordering from Drac-in-a-Box, and hadn't heard anything bad about them. 8 MONTHS. That's crap. Grrrrrr.......

I wish I'd known about some of those sites a few months ago when I still had extra cash on hand.

I bought a few things at the local Ren Fairs recently, though. Dragon Keepers are really nice! They have clothes, jewelry, blades, etc. They come out to Sanctus from time to time as well.

I bought a cloak for myself & a dress for my daughter from another tailor at the UT Ren Fair over the summer, though. It should have gotten to us in 4-6 weeks. I got it last week. Oh well, at least it made it time for Xmas.

Here is a really good German site:

http://www.x-tra-x.de

I fought a brush fire in a pair of there bondage pants. My arms were torn up and bloody from thorns, but the pants were fine. After that, I'll swear by there quality.
