Political Goth
Has anyone thought of creating a place where we can discuss politics?

Hey if they have an art forum and a cartalk forum, we need a gamer and a political forum
Hey..I want a gardening forum while we're at it.
And an NA/AA forum for you addicts...
And a parenting forum..yeah.
lol
I'd say they prolly don't want a political forum because many can't argue without taking it personally. And I do have a hard time being nice to republicans...hehe.
Please feel free to post 'em in general...

hmm yah

That was my fear too. It is a grown up topic after all. (Not meant towards you Butter) But yah know us goths have political rights too. Rep or Dem. Personally I'm neither. I don't trust the system enough. Too many old farts sitting in congress w/their old ideas and old morale. I can't wait for them to all rot. But wait. They'll just add in some new old farts. All in all the system sux. Needs to be a lot of it rewritten.
Note: This topic is not meant on a personal level just a friendly debate. Nor was it created to belittle your beliefs.

Ok hugglebear....
Actually some of the best wisdom my grandmother ever gave me was, "don't discuss religion or politics with your friends if you want to keep them."
I'd like to think that us adults could discuss such matters of extreme importance, but often times many of us can't take other peoples opinions unpersonally.
Silly peoples..

And that is why I always make my thoughts known. This way people know where I stand and can kiss my ass if they don't like it.Buttercup wrote:I'd like to think that us adults could discuss such matters of extreme importance, but often times many of us can't take other peoples opinions unpersonally.

Yep.
I like talking about politics- it's one of the few subjects that really animates me, personally.
And the only time I take things personally is if you're bashing the French.

My problem is, I like to ruffle feathers, and then see everyone's opinion when they're going spastic.
