Target Goodies

Post by karlaBOO »

They are starting to get Halloweenie stuffs out. :) I wait all year for Target's Halloween things.

Purchased today:

Over the knee socks, black with multi stripes.
Argyle Knee Socks, plum and black.

They have quite a few styles in the over the knee, and I know I'm always looking for some. They also have a good selection of fish-nets, and the open work crochet tights.

I LOVED all of the stuff I got at Target last halloween. I got the coolest stuff there. Shirts, TONS of socks, boxers, sleep shirts, pajama pants, stickers, lights, ornaments, nick nacks....

I want to make it out to Target SO BAD! I need some money, too :(

I spend way too much around halloween, but I just can't help myself!! It's great to know I'm not the only one!

As of friday, all Super Target (Mecca) had was their ceramic or plastic lit up pumpkins, black and orange storage boxes, and an endcap with various candles.

They have halloween shirts for five bucks in the boys department and the womens/juniors area. There is a cute one with a pic of a witch in red glitter that says WICKED. hehe.

I got a spider webbed taper holder and a bat candle for arse for her bday.

I go there almost daily, so I'll keep you all updated!

I'll have to check out the Target goodies. I've been going completely nuts with Wal Mart's spread this year. They have some very cool reasonably priced items worth checking out.

1. The old "flame cauldren" cheesy cool at under 10 bones.
2. Light rope. 18 feet of lights sheathed in your choice of 3 colored tubes: orange purple and black. At only 6.50 for 18 feet, the mind boggles at what you can do with this stuff. I'm trying to outline the walls in the living room with it and it is coming along nicely.
3. Fabrics - if any of you are into sewing, the halloween selection at Walmart is very nice this year. I got some sheer black and silver spiderweb stuff for tablecloths.

Happy hunting! I love Halloween for the home!

I've already bought some of their material, to make some cutesy skirts.

I want some of that black ropelight! I have tons of purple, but I really love the black!

They also have some really cute tubs, that I am using to put assorted craft stuff in.

OH, and rolls of sticky bats, ghosts, and pumpkins. I bought some potholders from there today (I have a halloweenie kitchen)

Sadly, I noticed they are out of the fabric I wanted to do curtains for my kitchen in :( Guess I will have to see if any of the other walmarts have it in.

Sorry...I bought all of the black rope light in one Wal Mart (Lenoir City) but noticed they still had some in the Wal Mart at the Turkey Creek shopping center. But the black sells fastest, followed by purple and then orange.

I wait all year to buy fishnets at Halloween, because they are like a buck or two. So I stock up on the 3 different colors. I have no lost, ripped, and destroied all that was left from last year. So I go to walmart to get some, they have NONE. I go to target, NONE. I go to the halloween express store next to marshalls, they only have leg avenue brand for like $7-$10. I tried wallgreens, NONE. I am so mad!!!!! And not to mention I just got the coolest black dress from Planet X-change, it is short and I gotta have my cheapo fishnets. Where have all the halloween fishnets gone?????!!!!!!I am so distraught and dont know what to do. Has anyone else found them. I mean I hate to sound all poor and stingy, but I am.

Target always has the best cheaply priced stuff. I love the striped socks.
There is a big warehouse type place in west Knoxville that is all-halloween related and they have some really good stuff that's not too expensive. It's off of Kingston Pike or N Peters road somewhere in there, close to the $1.00 movie.

hehe... stripper shoes... i want some from ipso-facto, but i don't have any money... even a year ago when i first saw them in the store, i wanted them, and didn't have money... yeah... and the electric chair... they had these knee high green grinders, but again, i didn't have any moneys... and with red balls, saw this wicked pair of lip service pants that were checkered and tied up the sides... but didn't have money there either... but it was all good... being a kid from the ghetto of southern california, taking the bus to gigs, and trying on the clothes we knew we would never be able to afford... the good old days... *sigh*... sorry, off topic there...

but yes, target, bought some bright pink argyle socks a few days ago... those things kick ass....

Hee,hee. *NEENER* Went with my mom to the one in Lenoir City. They had PLENTY.

Latest Halloweenie purchase: Full size broom, with organic looking "sweeper" side, and black and green striped, painted handle. $3.99. :)

BOO and Jason both want their own.
