i am going, and i have one seat left, and i am getting a hotel. i plan to leave early because i want to get a hotel before the club, preferably near the club, and i want to check out a few stores.

Well, there seems to be a days inn on patton avenue...but I don't really think I can afford to pay for a room by meself. Who can me and arse and SirD snuggle with? lol

Welp my ride got her car totalled and she just got out of the hospital, cracked rib and she's okay, so I'll be needing a ride I'll be down at 11th st at 5 or so hopefully.

Wow. This is quite a response. I've been worried the past few days about not having promoted The 5th Circle more to the Knoxville scene. I've kept meaning to get on this board and say hello, but just haven't gotten around to it. I'm quite pleased to see how many are coming down tonight.

If any of you are interested in doing something after the club, let me know. We ususally hit Denny's or Waffle House after the club closes at 3:00.

And if you have any requests, you can submit them at http://www.the5thcircle.com. I'll be one of three DJ's tonight, spinning from 12-1 and then again from 2-3.

Take I-40 East. Get off on I-240 East (you'll see signs for Asheville). Take the Merrimon Avenue exit #53B. Turn Left onto Merrimon Ave (heading downtown). Turn Right on College Street. Turn Left on Haywood Street. Shotzy's is at the intersection of Haywood and Patton.

The club and Denny's were both very enjoyable. The hospitality of those we met from Asheville was wonderful, and the music rocked. I had a great time and look forward to making a visit to Asheville again next month.

Hopefully, I can get pictures posted soon.

Ugh!....too much fairy!

Had a lovelly coffee brunch about noon on Sunday though.

Next time I think I will forgo the room and just sleep in my truck though. The only thing I would have missed was a shower. The four block walk to the hotel room was nice....but not $114 nice.

The area is very pedestrian friendly though....unlike our burg.

Yes, thank you all for coming down this weekend. We had a wonderful turnout...so good, we might just start doing this twice a month. But that's at least a couple of months away.

It was great to meet so many of you. I'm working on getting a group to caravan up to Sanctus this weekend. I've also been very impressed with how nice you guys are...it seems like a lot of scenes are infected with self-righteous, elitist, gother-than-thou types who end up spoiling everyone's fun. But I've been impressed at how welcoming and open all the Knoxville-ites have been. Y'all should be proud.

I'll go back to lurking around here for a while. Just so you know, we're doing The 5th Circle again on 10/11/31. We're also doing a special thing on Halloween. And there's a chance we might be able to book Bella Morte on 11/15/03. I'll keep you posted.
