To use their description, its a "Goth festival". Its more or less a weekend where a variety of bands and DJs from across the nation are brought in for entertainment. They may have fashion shows and the like on the side. Its a gathering place for people with similar interests from across the nation. If you click on the links for the cities, you can see their proposals for themes for next year's Convergence. Someone else on here may be able to give a better description of the event because I know there are those who have actually been able to attend. I wanted to go last year but didn't want to head all the way to Vegas. If it's in Chicago next year, I will most likely try to go.
