So Halloween Sanctus theme or no??

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

So Halloween Sanctus theme or no??

Post by Serenity »

Well...just wondered if the October 19th is a halloween event or no. I plan to dress accordingly, costume and what not but is Sanctus actually a halloween theme? I would think so but it never hurts to ask I guess.

Forgive me if this was posted and discussed already, I have been away from the board for a while!

We're not planning anything like a costume contest, but if you feel like being in a Halloween sort of mood for the October Sanctus, by all means treat it like a Halloween party.

Well, come on people! Costumes costumes costumes...since there seems to be no "formal" Halloween Goth thingy lets celebrate the ever important holiday with some Halloween fun! I plan to...I am not too proud to dance around like a dork in a silly costume...I usually do anyway and really...isn't that what life is really like anyway? Masks, pretending to be something or someone you aren't? ahhh...this is getting too deep.

Well..I am going to go in costume and have fun...

well I'm coming out in costume, I hope I'm not alone. Doesn't matter much every body looks like Halloween every sanctus anyway...to the norms.
There are darker things out there than me, but good luck finding them.

I stopped for gas on the way to the Black Ball and the cashier asked, "Are the Halloween parties starting already?" It somewhat annoyed me and I simply said to him, "No, I'm on my way to a Black Mass to eat babies." He had nothing else to say. ;)

Well, I am going in costume. I will also have a "guardian angel" going with me as well...that will be in full costume as well.

:coffee: Why can't they have coffee at these damn "goth" nights...and bar coffee doesn't count...it always tastes like cardboard.

I am not going to give my costume away...secret....

And I am bringing my own coffee....

Why is the beer so expensive at Sanctus? Can I bring my own beer? I plan to wear my Valley Girl costume...it is quite nice. Or maybe I could dress up as a prostitute. To all that love Korn and John Davis, let it be known that he is a "closet goth" like myself...I only wish I could open that closet and find all the expensive clothing that goes with it...

And...I close in saying...that light beer still makes you fat.
Drink responsibly

Hey...who ate UT Saturday?

Grrrrrr.....War Eagle buddy...

I am brewing several ideas myself...I plan to make this Sanctus a great one seeing as how this is the last Halloween in Tennessee I am getting.

Can it still be Halloween when it is 80 degrees and there are palm trees?

I even bought Halloween themed scrubs for work...good times :)

There will be a costume contest at Fairbanks "Fete des Fous" Halloween event on the evening of the 31st and we will be giving away a cash prize for best costume. Everyone is encouraged to show up in costume....
Blackgrass is a confirmed definite, local artists, spoken word and much more earlier on in the night. The Halloween Ball gothic/industrial dance with Michael Xi and myself will kick in around the witching hour. Doors will open at 6:00pm and stay open until 6:00 in the morning. We will have an official flyer and more info for the event in the Upcoming Events section by next week, so stay tuned.

You know, If you added a comma to the title of this thread, it would be pretty funny.

Let me Echo this Heartily!!
Someone earlier in this thread said "Since there is no "Formal" Halloween thing" (or something to that effect), DAMNED IF THERE ISN'T!!!!!!
There's going to be a KICK ASS Halloween thing!!!!!!
For those who haven't been, the new Fairbanks has the BEST Sounding PA I've EVER heard in my LIFE!!!!
Since it's in a different place, in a different format, I'll be taking the opportunity to change things up a bit, while still retaining some of the Favorites.
......
In the Meantime, Sanctus WILL have a Halloween theme.
Didn't you know that "Every Day is Halloween"????????
:D

*laugh* Well, that does seem a bit more appropriate.

AHHH I wish I could attend the Fairbanks....seeing as how I got to know everyone at the first event there 2 years ago but alas...I am moving a bunch of my shit on November 1st...I still plan to party but the truck is getting loaded and heading on down the road to Jville bright and early....

The worse part...I still have more things to move after that trip...

I will still be attending Sanctus events though...gotta love night shift at the hospital!

Wishing I could attend :-(
