mirrors in her eyes

everything she sees
reflects back to me
and i need that responsibility
to keep me in sanity.
those eyes, they see
too far into me
and everything i am
is what she will be.
keep up my head
and scars off my skin
because what she sees
she will keep within.
and every word i say
she'll repeat to me one day
and everything in my dialect
i must overview in her respect.
she's got mirrors in her eyes
i see myself in what she'll do
and in those mirrors in her eyes
i'll see myself the way you do.........

That's what I was thinking when I read the title. I have to agree with JC, it is sweet(it's hard to imagine JC using the word "sweet" in everyday venacular). Also, I'm very happy you realize that your child will reflect you in almost every mannurism. Most people don't EVER realize that. It makes me sad really.

jinx is one of the ONLY people on earth whos heard me say alot of things...and do alot of things for that matter.
hell shes even seen me refer to food as *yummy* which is about the most uncharacteristic thing ive ever done.......
and shes heard me hum elton john songs.
but she is a really good mom, and if you hear her talk with her kid................... its sickenly adorable.

oh i wasnt implyign that somehow she doesnt care about her child, but the titlle made me think of the movie is all, and the connotations just ...well...yeah
