it's amazing. We give people a forum - for FREE no less, and the only condition is that they follow a few simple rules about being nice to each other.

then they complain when their posts are deleted after they break those rules.

I just don't get why you people need to consider yourselves anything. You're fucking people. Because you dress in black and listen to shit-ridden completely talent less sheep of a music genre that makes you Goth? I don't think so. Gothic is a time period and a style of architecture, not a type of person. Types of people include African Americans, Caucasian Americans, and Mexican Americans.

You people just need the term gothic to make you feel of some importance. Grow up. Unless you're in the 10-15 year old bracket in which you're allowed to act like a child.

You're only furthering the schismatic ways of the world.

If you want to label yourself something make it human.

I don't hate anyone unless they truly deserve it, and if you knew anything about me, then you would realize that I really do love everyone, although there are varying degrees, starting at the top with my baby girl, and snuggle hubby, and dropping dramatically through the people I know, ending at the bottom spot, which you seem quite happy to be filling right now. i dont recall damn near anyone on this board ever having a "goth" conversation with me and ive been around for months.
i dont recall anyone ever discussing how great it is to be goth or whatever.
its just another adjective on the list of things you can say about your tastes and roles in life.
files right beside "taxpayer" "father" "cancer patient" "student" "wife" "bitch" "virgin" "hetrosexual" "asshole" "gas station cashier" whatever.
its people with shit in common.
noone on here has one word (ie. goth) to describe them. most of these people (note i said MOST) are alot of roles in life if we were all posting on a website about our job would you stereotype us for paying taxes?
thats the funny thing, the some of the people i met over this whole thing in knoxville are the most real fucking people ive met in all the states ive been to try to make a home. and some are the in my ranks of worst people but even the ones i dont like have personality in some fucking way.
and what you described as "types of people" are races. thats a descriptor that shouldnt exist anyway.
and last time i checked, there is no real goth music genre. i know no one on here with a cd collection that looks identical to anyone elses. its a REALLY diverse crowd.
we are fucking people, and it looks like we arent the one having a crisis over that.
in addition to my role as "goth", ive been in the punk scenes since i was fucking 9 years old. fucking nine. ive been a cookie cutter for antisocial personality disorder since i could talk. ive been violent by nature since i could walk. ive been a brother. ive helped raise kids. ive been a pallbearer and a best man. ive been a musician for 10 years. ive been alot of things. saved lives and been a criminal. now im about to be a college graduate. ill trade one word for another but ive never fallen under a fucking label (well except junkie for awhile but im over it and even then i wasnt JUST a junkie. did other shit too) in my life. they are just words man. just words that you call labels.
these "labels" are just window dressing.
its not who you are.
i pride myself on the fact theres not another fucking human on earth like me, but we are all the same. its the paradox of existance, and if you havent figured that out by this point in your life, your showing stupidity. the people that want SOOOOOO BADDDDDDLYYYYY to fit in... i notice they dont stick around this scene for more than month or two because they cant hold a fucking conversation and are generally annoying people that fuck it all up themselves. and ive only seen that happen maybe twice. MAYBE twice.

and considering youve obviously never met these people, who the fuck are you to judge? the great thing with these guys is if you stopped posting things that just annoy people (which lasts about 2.3 seconds) and tried to get to know some, theyd probably still give you the same shot they give anyone else. well most anyway.

you want a real enemy, go try and tackle the corrupt governments, the parents who beat kids, maybe try to help out someone in rehab, or help stop a corrupt cop. theres plenty of common enemies that have real reasons to be stopped. your just wasting time and energy you could put towards something productive,

not really trying to attack you as much try to figure out what goes thru someones head when they post something like that. so what, heres a people using the word goth as an excuse to hang out and enjoy life. big fucking deal.
this web site or ones like dont add to the stigma, they help against it. most of the users of this site would probably take offense to being called goth. i do usually. just a thought.

I came here to light a fire under your asses and to get a reaction. To be honest I don't really give a fuck. You people aren't watching MTV or buying Good Charlotte CDs, and you Goths have a great appreciation for the arts and romance. That makes you okay in my book.
