Sure they will. I wouldn't, due to the fact that I don't grind my brain down with the shit.

This is primarily because I've only encountered a handful of people with the correct brain chemistry and/or genetics to be able to use cannabis and still code worth a damn. And, with only a few exceptions, nothing is more important than The Code™.

Oh, and tool is synonymous with asshat.
