Swing/big band music and dancing?

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Post by Burlesquebroads »

Heya my man and I are looking for places to go swing dancing. Anyone know if there are any places that cater to this in Knoxville?

Fairbanks in Homberg Place was hosting swing nights on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. You might want to call them and verify, but they have been hosting them for several years and were still hosting the night as of the first of December. The Streamliners play throughout the night, and they are fantastic. Hope this helps.

One of my friends goes to these pretty regularly. There is one this Firday, if I am not mistaken. Usually $10 at the door...

Occasionally they have a big weekend-long thing with lessons, etc.
