Demons

Post by Lost Traveler »

So Im surfing looking for ancient writings or designs (just for fun) also trying to remember the name of a book I sold to Mckays a few years ago, when I run across a sight that simultainusly refs Mathers' Goetia (demons symbols), Plancy's Dictionnaire Infernal (with illustrations), and Wier's Pseudomonarchia daemonum.

It describes several demons, who they lead, what powers they have, any special tricks to summon them with and what they have been doing since they got kicked out of heaven (yeah this one deals with those demons) its like

(read using the voice from your a fucking moron)
Bob is the 99th demon of the goetia and he commands a legion of legions etc etc.......he looks like a dude with a hat..........when you summon him make sure your holding a pile of shit in your right and pointing it to the south and east, and he will become your friend................he can cause love (yeah thats an actual one, man what evil)..........(and heres what got me, what evil have these demons of hell been up to?).......................and he teaches liberal arts. :-?

yeah liberal arts in fact thats what 50% of them do the others teach stuff like how to talk to water or how to tell if a stone is precious or not  so apparently hell is just on giant community college fully of hippy teachers  .

Just thought you might find it interesting

Is that the same Mather who wrote Malleus Maleficarium? (not sure on the spelling of that) Been looking for a decent copy of that for a while... (nice to see peoples' rediculous misconceptions about shit)

Malleus Maleficarum - Kramer/Sprenger (ca. 1486) - translated by Montague Summer

This is the same text used by Cotton Mather.

Yes, I am a moron  . I knew he didn't write that, but my brain was misbehaving when I first looked at the thread.
