ok is there a way to make the private messaging in the chat to default to red or a different color that stands out from the other text so you can see it and know its for just you? maybe bold it?

it'll still be kind of difficult to keep track of. anyone who's used ircII/scrollz, or bitchx irc clients, without learning /window commands, can attest to that.

but yeah, an alternate color would be cool, if you don't have to hack the code much to do that.

The chat colors are now final, barring someone giving me a really good reason to change them.

The user count is fixed.

The AOL problems are not fixed, and will not be fixed. we're not even going to try.

So, the chat is now officially in beta test stage - keep letting us know what you think.

For some reason the chat just completely stopped working for me at work. Bad stuff.

It locked up.. then i refreshed.. and now all i get is a white screen and a server time.

Yes its still broken today. And Bear and fallen are having the same trouble. Along with I think exile yesterday.

I don't know. I'm suspecting that it may be blocked from your work - but I'm not blocking it.

No, its not working right. However if it were blocked I would not be able to access it at all. I would get a blocked message. Nashvilles is working fine and has the same software. AND it was broken for Fallen yesterday aswell.

No, its not working right. However if it were blocked I would not be able to access it at all. I would get a blocked message. Nashvilles is working fine and has the same software. AND it was broken for Fallen yesterday aswell.

ok. i'm not sure what's going on here. it may be the fact that you're on a terminal, and the server needs to be rebooted. but without touching it, I can only make guesses.
