New Tim Burton - Big Fish

The whole thing has a bit too much of a walter mittyish forest gump feel to me - and wtf is up with that god awful accent Ewan McGregor is attempting for this?

Negative assumptions aside, for some reason, after watching the trailer, I have a good feeling - sort of like what reading a John Irving novel does to you. Burton's best films have always been the more whimsical ones...I am getting a bit tired of Danny Elfman though.

I haven't heard anything about this one yet, I'll have to look it up.

I have heard, though, about his project to redo Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with either Marilyn Manson or Johnny Depp taking over for the part Gene Wilder made famous.

Frankly I'd go to see it no matter who starred.

It was weird, but it made sense at the end. I agree about the accent, it was horriable.
