11th street tonite??

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Me, hubby, and 4 year old are going to head down. Maybe do some bubbles for a bit, then come home.

Baby's been asking to go for weeks now. She loves the co-fre shop.

I'll be there by 9. See y'all there... still no firm plans on what we're doing afterwards. Our fearless leader is feeling under the weather.

Well what did you expect? Orgy in the parlor? Binge drinking on the porch? It's a coffeehouse, you drink caffeinated beverages and share lies and bullshit and gossip. And you might even meet a few people if you actually intro yerself...

The coffee sucked. I dont like to gossip, and I did talk to people. Im really not an interesting person, nor did anyone interest me.

Oh, my. As one of the people who spoke with you, however briefly, uh... thanks?

I know us old fogies may be a little slow for you baby bats, but don't think after one visit you've arrived at an informed decision. As the weather warms, more happens outside. The men folk have been know to engage in sword play, for example.

Over all, it is a purely social experince, though. Prehaps if you gave it some time & tried getting to know some of the peeps better, you'd find the experience more appealing. Then again, perhaps not. You know best.

Regardless, sorry to have been less than entertaining. :stickpoke:

Don't worry Mo, I think the company is wonderful, especially when you are around. Maybe certain people were expecting that we of legal age must always be drinking and partying, when really we only do that 5 nights a week and rest the other 2. ;)

We've got some lobster cracking tools and some hammers if he needs help coming out of his shell...

Friday night was pretty good. Nice to see all of you who made it to 11th St. Midnight Sushi at Tomo was awesome... I couldn't resist trying the "Scorpion Roll" mmmmmmm

If any one else is curious, I've got samples of a Scorpion Roll available....

I don't get that. I'm a spaz, myself, and - so long as it wasn't deserted when we got there - have found plenty of entertainment at 11th street. Hell, I'd go more often, if I felt like dealing with people. (I'm quite anti-social 90% of the time. The other 10%, I actually do go out.)

But hey, to each their own.

As far as Tomo's goes, though, I'd be more prone to going if their choices of drink were more... er... expansive.
