Seabound - worth a listen

Post by Black Metallic »

On a lark I picked up a used disc from Seabound. I like it. Think of dark electro with good lyrics, and a dash of ambient. Not really dancey (for the most part), but solid none the less. Check them out if you're in a cd store sometime (if they have it) or order it online (amazon.com). Good stuff. Comparison bands/groups - Deine Lakaien, VNV Nation (the mellower stuff) maybe even a little Beborn Beton. Personal favorite has to be "Torn".

Worth a listen!
Its all about the oontz.

Seabound - kind of generic. Nothing to really inspire me. A lot like the modern EBM trend. Nice guys, though, from talking to people who know them. But nothing really stands out for me.

Also Hot Topic was selling a 2 CD set for like $4.99 called Metal For The Masses it had 16 or so tracks on the CD and an additional CD with over 150 mp3's a few of those were Seabound. They also had alot of shit like The Kovenant,Death,Dimmu Borgir, and a few bands I hadn't heard of. It was worth the 5 bucks. *shrug*
