I'm curious what everyone thinks about the new forum... and I want to try out the poll feature.

Yeah this format is really good, altho the emoticons are a bit wanky, there are some evil/devil ones that are pretty wicked

Ohh yes! More smileys! And can the submit/preview buttons be put near the top of the screen so we don't have to scroll? I know its nitpicky.. but hey.. no scroll mouse at work!

The colors for whether there are new posts or not DO NOT match the forum colors.

Plus, red=STOP, so it's confusing to have red be the color for a thread with new posts. Red (please not against this background) would make more sense on a locked thread.

The yellow - on mauve - ouch, Ouch, OUCH!

Oh, the buttons - "disable BBCode in this post" and such - look exactly the same to me checked or unchecked (wearing glasses).

how do you change what's under your screen name? like some people have "baby goth" and some people have "floozie". i want something more interesting than baby goth.....

The rank is determined by a few things.

Moderators get marked as moderators.

ReddErin is the Queen Bitch.

A few people have asked to be floozies and trollops. (note: special rank creation like this is entirely at the whim of the KGB, and also depends on how nicely you ask. I probably shouldn't have done it, but I was amused.)

Beyond that, it's based on number of posts.

If it becomes too much of a problem, I'll just disable it entirely.

oh i wasn't trying to be bitchy- i was just trying to figure out how to get rid of "baby goth", that's all. i thought that perhaps it was something one could change somehow....
