Satanarchy (1999)
What could be more ludicrous than full-grown adults believing that the myths of Christianity are literal truths? If your answer is Satanism, then this is the play for you. More hand-puppet hijinx as we explore the wacky world of satanic cults. This pint-size shocker has got it all: abuse of Jehovah’s Witnesses, gay S&M, pagan chicken sacrifice, and, of course, a black mass that summons the Devil himself. All played for laughs. Think if Goethe had been listening to Slayer and drinking sterno while writing his classic play Faust. Satanarchy is so timelessly hilarious, that investigative journalists are to this day analyzing how it single-handedly corrupted Western Civilization.
