not places, but events( usually held in the same place). i guess it depends on what you consider to actually be "goth". i'm definitely not. true, i usually wear black when i go out to a club or whatever and i have a few "gothic' pieces in my wardrobe, but anyone that knows me can tell you that i am more the antithsesis(sp?) of goth

you prolly saw the pics we took one night when a bunch of obnoxious and flamboyant gays showed up. very unusual. atleast, i've never seen them there, but once, since i've been attending.

if i were to name a king goth, i would nominate the fallen. the first time i met him i thought that he had definitely staped the backs of both hands to his forehead.

I think not. I am not trying to label people here at all. Im just not used to the way people see each other over there as there are big cultural differences when it comes to goth or whatever you want to call it. No i am not some troll at all. if i were such a troll would i be listening to bauhaus constantly and specimen etc?!?!?! i think not.

So cmon tell me how im a troll. Maybe, yes i am an ugly thing that lives under a bridge but im not a faker.

I understand that it is not right to label people. I just tend to when i do not know everything about a certain group of people. I do have little exposure to the goth scene but to be honest id rather not be part of any scene.

I do like talking to people about scenes etc but i wouldnt consider myself as part of one. The people that i know arent really into goth much. The majority are into harsh noise like Merzbow and Hanatarash. Some are into industrial like Throbbing Gristle and their likes.

I wont throw around digs at anyone dont worry. Im just trying to find out things about the TN goth scene if you even wish to call it a scene.

I do judge people individually, but it is hard when the population is filled with idiots mainly. I am Michael.

I want to be able to know some of the people there before i go over. But in some ways im unsure because each statement i make has me branded a cunt!

I don't read his posts as those of a Troo. He may be a little misinformed about the Goth scene here in Knoxville but it sounds like he has very little to compare it to. I aplaude his wish to learn what This Scene is all about even if his tone at times are a little bit incendiary at times, but he is young and with youth comes mistakes. Give him a chance before automatically labelling him a Troll he has yet to make any blatent attempts at insulting any individuals or the scene as a whole. But what do I know I listen to Hip Hop.

Yes people over here can be noticed as Goth simply for what they wear however Most of them would NEVER wear anything with Korn on it because the Band is not very Goth.

That fully depends on what you mean by bad.

Yes, yes they are and you can usually find them sitting in Mall food courts in packs trying to get someone to buy them cigerattes

Yes and No. this is a very flamboyant lot, especially on hte club nights. Santus is a night to go out have fun and let loose so the flamboyant factor can be very high. But on a day to day basis most of the people in this scene are just ordinary or slightly out of the ordinary people that enjoy being around other like minded people.

There really is no "King" Goth. There are those that helped get the Dance night started and sort of act as the spokespeople for hte scene, but there is no defacto leader.
