If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Kerry is inexperienced.

He has had no experience in destroying the US economy, or in sending our boys and girls into a war to get their heads blown off, all on false pretenses. He's inexperienced also when it comes to intimidating opponents of his policies (such as when that FBI agent's name got leaked to the press when her husband criticized the war) ...

Kerry's also inexperienced at rigging state elections by wrongfully denying 2000 people the right to vote, in an election that was decided by fewer than 500 votes.

Kerry also doesn't know how to turn the USA from perhaps the most sympathized nation in the world, to the most hated.
That's definitely Bush's forte.

Bush is indeed more experienced at these things.

Personally, I'll take inexperience vs the way this country's been run since 2000.

And King George II had sooo much international political experience before he was elected? And Kerry is far from green and clueless. And for that matter Clinton was "green and clueless" but he will go down as one of the most progressive, best presidents the nation has ever had.

Bush sucks just as bad when it comes to the whole war thing as a new guy would. he is a moron, his tactics are pupurely political based, and suck on top of that, he is religiously bias and trying to force that on the country, he has passed a shitload of laws that have done damage to the environment. (such as passing the laws that coal plants could upgrade without worrying about additional popolution, approved mountain top strip mining, and a whole list of other abominations), and he is relying on the whole 911 ininciden to get reelected because he does not really have any other reredeeming factors to advertise. (*note, i don't consider his actions with 911 to be reredeeming factors either, but he seems to) , i disagree with his opinions on abortion, and the laws that he has passed/allowed to be passed. this election will be the first time i will be voting. and the only reason that i am is because i don't want bush to be president. the only reredeeming thing i can think of about the guy is that he is pro gun.

Of course, I will be voting for Kerry, but that doesn't mean that I think all republicans should be burned at the stake (only a select few).

Seriously though, the freedom to own weapons is a fundamental American right which I support completely. Hell, in some parts of our country, you're bear meat if you don't own a gun. It would be great if the military could keep it's rocket launchers & armor piercing bullets & other such play things to themselves, though. We can have the right to have weapons, while still enforcing common sense rules about what is on the public market & how it must be kept locked up tighter than Dick Cheney's corporate scandals. All gun owners should continue to be taught proper safety & storage of these devices, & no, violent criminals don't get to play. Bad con, no assault rifle!

Smaller government has it's good points too, but social programs must still be maintained. Not every disabled American has wealthy family or kind benefactors to look after them. Too many sick, unwanted folks would be on the streets foraging for assistance out the rich folks trash cans if we, as a society, didn't step up to the plate & help them out. Instead, republicans in general seem content to let them lie in the gutter, unmedicated, unfed, & unutilized. Many times these people can become contributing members of society with the proper assistance. I just can't support a party that is so dismissive of these issues.

That kind of mentality is remniscent of the ancients leaving unwanted or imperfect babies on the hillside to be exposed to the elements/wolves. They would have blood on their hands if they did the little guy in themselves, but it was ok to just leave them in a perilous situation & see if the gods decide to save him. This kind of thinking has unhappily survived in some conservative republicans, who instead would rather see big business get even bigger & more powerful & more untouchable by we common folk.

That's enough of a rant for today, to be sure. Next?

We should probably limit answers to Junkie's question to 'Secular' reasons only.

It appears that all the bible thumping braincell bums I know are voting for Bush simply because he is either pro-life, anti-islamic (don't lie, you know he is), anti-gay, or a just gun toting Neo-con. Like Junkie I have not heard a single sensible, intelligent, secular reason to vote for Bush from any of the fools that I know personally will vote for him. As yet the most entertaining reason was, I quote, "He uses Tombstone style politics and I like that!" Well great. Go vote for Wyatt -fucking- Earp then! He may be dead but at least he wasn't a freakin' coward.

So yeah keep the reasons secular. Religion should never be the basis of political action or the cause for public service.

yes, i agree, but try telling that to the bible thumping nazi. (*note, i don't have anything against christianity, or any religion, as long as said religion has nothing to do with the government and is not forced on anyone)

secular

nonsecular

any reason.

but the people who would use secular reasoning are proving they are brainwashed idiots............and thus disproving that they deserve to exist.

i want some well thought out answer about why hes a good pick (we all know hes a good PrICK).
never seen one. i wonder when people type up or say shit..when they look back on it if they realize how wrong they are and are afraid to admit or are really that fucking stupid.

normally i can respect the opinion of any man, woman, child, idiot, whatever...... but when it comes to bush... peoples opinions cost innocent lives.... and our fucking rights..... and our fucking money.

heres my only reason to keep bush around
hes a great president...... for comedy and making angry albums against the government.
oh wait.
THATS A BAD FUCKING THING! WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT TO OTHER FUCKING COUNTRIES!

I don't understand why some people think that since they are Republican, they MUST support Bush. I've seen a lot of Republican anti-Bush peeps coming out lately.

and for those of you that live in or around Oak Ridge, you need to CLICK HERE

I hope I don't need to tell you why.
