Finally

Short, sweet and simple: Tomorrow, at noon, my daughter finally comes home.

Many of you know what kind of a year this has been for me. A lot of you have been more than supportive and kind to me since I first came back here. So many of you have given me words of advice, hugs, prayers (or whatever

), and distractions. I wish I could express how much I appreciate that.

There are a few people I want to single out as having been incredibly supportive while I've been going through this.

Erin, Julie (CotD), JaNell, Jay, Arlene (Digital Pixie), Gretchen (Faeiregirl), Emann & Emily, Thimble, Michelle (Arsenic Charming) - I could never count the ways you all have helped me. Pep talks, shoulders to cry on, swift kicks in the ass, reality checks, couches to crash on, employment, laughs, and lots and lots of cheer ups. You people border on sainthood. I know I have been intolerable at times.

Morgan (MotM): You have no idea how much you have helped me. I know we haven't spoken in forever, but I will always appreciate our talks. The things you said to me really sunk in, and will stay with me forever. I still have the letter you gave me as a reminder of what's truly important in life.

Morgan (Buttercup): All of the above... times a bazillion.

I won't be around for awhile, maybe quite awhile. I plan on spending all of my time with Aurora

If you see me between now and tomorrow... you'll excuse me if I seem weirder than usual. I have permanent butterflies, and a silly grin on.

Sorry for getting all mushy and crap.

If anyone deserves the thanks, it is you. You are right...it's been awhile. I haven't gotten to tell you that I too, ended up with a happy ending. I wish only the best for you always. Damn mushy stuff. I'm all blurry eyed and *grabbing tissues* Damn you.

Seriously though...I love you deeply, like the wick of a ten foot candle. I'm so extremely happy for you (and yes, I *did* say that without sarcasm). Seeing you smile is one of the best pick me ups there is because it lets me know that the world isn't crashing down around you.

On a side note, I really hope you and Jen can make it out sometimes. I realize that time with Aurora is extremely important for you, but some of us just don't feel right without a soggy shoulder and snot on our collar anymore.

(Whether you realize it or not, your friendship is really important to me.)

Again, I'm really excited for you and Aurora both. When do I get to meet her? If I'm going to instruct her in the proper ways to drive your dad insane, I have to start early. :wink:
