well if your not worried about $$$, PF Changes is good and so was giant panda but its closed now. Bravo's and Wasabi, both on Bearden hill are good, the only problem with Bravo's being its silly prices. The Chop House/Grill (wich ever one is down near Faraget) and Westside tavern are good standard pretentious fare. The Italian market next to the Chop House/Grill has some really good food (again $$$). The only good Mexican resturant (burito diablo and moe's are good but they're more like deli's)is Elcharo's and its cheap. If you like catfish there is the cross eyed crikect but I have no idea how to get to it. A local favorite for italian are Macroni's and Pelbleo's (sp) both good (and $$$) and at P's you can get weird mixes like Pasta Alfredo with grits.

If price is no issue and you are wanting nice, Cha Cha's, a tapas bar, and Mango's, both on Kingston Pike in Beardon, are very nice. My favorite in Knoxville is Taste of Thai in the Circuit City shopping center off of Kingston Pike / Cedar Bluff, but the first 2 have a ritzier atmosphere.
Keep the taps flowing and be well

Are you talking about Puleo's, and if so, have you eaten there? I am looking for someone that can give me a good idea of the food. prices, atmosphere, etc. I know it has been rated high in the "Best of Knoxville" polls, but I am curious to hear details from someone that has been there.

yeah my spelling , Yeah I've eaten there quite a few times, it all has some really nice flavors and an interesting variaty, some how no matter what I order I always get the smallest portion, The service can be very good or a little anoying (its random), go early or late, during the rush waits have been as long a 2hrs. Its very much worth a try.
and with the mention of mago's and those I remebered Stir Fry excelent spicy asian (think its supose to be tia) and its not even as expesive as PF's (its in the corner of that complex that has chilie and silver spoon across the street from Cats records)
