Space fans, I am pleased to announce that the Knoxville Acid Jazz Trio will be playing Knoxville on Saturday, August 14th @ The Urban Bar. Those of you who consumed the required quota of alcohol at Ricky Moon's housewarming party a year ago will remember how good we sounded, and now we will be back in the Flesh: Arkady, Bone, Lucious and special guests will be laying it down in the K-Town that night, and we hope you all will attend; esp. because it'll probably be free. Clothing optional.

yes, arkady, we will be playing Deep Purple's "The Mule" in twelve keys...

first venue suggestion has been: the back room at the former BW3's in Old City. Suggestion was taken to heart and raved about: dark, smelly room with plenty of brick and carpet soundproofing. And if it's the Old City, doesn't matter where it is, we're not getting paid - so maybe this place will be classy enough so that the bartenders don't try to charge US for playing this time (F.U., Pat Sullivans)

News flash: the KJAT reunion tour will be appearing at URBAN BAR on Saturday the 14th at 10pm. Please come out and expect it to be WEIRD. And remember, space fans: the freakier you dress, the freakier we play. So come weird out the yuppies and we will support you musically!
