What are your favorite pieces of clothing that you own?

What are your favorite pieces of clothing that you own?

Post by shadow dancer »

Okay, so I was thinking about this from watching the "What are you wearing today" thread. I have particular pieces of clothing that are my absolute favorites, so I have to ask, "What are your favorite pieces of clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc. that you currently own and why?" Post pics if you've got them.

For me, they are as follows:
Area 2 babydoll t-shirt: It was purchased at the show in D.C., and just seeing David Bowie and The Blue Man Group at the same show was awesome.
LS blue jeans: They are truly the most comfortable pair of jeans I've ever owned due to the stretch they have. I wear these so often for driving, shopping, going out, just lounging around, etc.
Burgundy, crushed velvet, knee length burgundy dress made by Hot Kiss: I bought this one off of Ebay for extremely cheap and have dressed it up with a mesh shirt underneath or dressed it down with a black sweater over it usually accompanied by platform boots.
Jeannie Nitro dress: The bodice is black vinyl and the skirt is long, red satin with black tulle over it. I bought this one for the Endless Night Festival years ago. It has been worn to many events since it is quite versatile. I usually prefer wearing long dresses to events when there's room and when its not too hot.
black onyx dagger necklace: Its something I rarely take off and reminds me of a specific time in my life.

Sadly, I have no pictures of any of these.
I'm not wicked. I'm just viciously mischievous.

a pair of vintage nylon white opera gloves with buttons on the wrists

and finally my most treasured article is a corset by dolce and gabbana....never been a label collector, but it is so damn well made that I just treasure it. It is the only couture peice I own

Black cotton workout pants... I bought a second pair when I realized how much I loved the first! Soooo comfortable!

My colorful striped sock collection. They make me happy.

My long, twirly gypsy skirt (black). Fun to dance in!

My red Renn dress, which was also my wedding dress. ;)

But my actual fav's are all bed clothes... night gowns, flannel pj's, really soft, oversized T shirts & men's sleep pants. Comfy is best!

Really want to know? Do you really want to know? Alright, I'll tell you :) :
Due to the nudity laws in southern california, I cannot say "my skin" is a favorite article of clothing for me. Only at nudist beaches and in my bedroom. So, here we go
*White t-shirt with prints of sparkly ring pops that says "bling bling!"
*Black short ruffly skirt that always stays up when I get up (after sitting down, i mean)... it's actually pretty funny cause sometimes i forget that i'm wearing the white panties...
*A pair of black lacy boyshort style panties with a matching bra. Nothing is better than feeling sexy UNDER your clothes
*my black and pink converse high tops

and that's about it
... my avatar is specialerer than I am :)

hmm..
My favorite ring: a large 18K white gold ring with 12 diamonds of different sizes in this neat swirly pattern, that my grandfather made when he was a jeweler.

my favorite shoes: well, I really like my thigh high boots I just got. I have several pairs of dress shoes for work that are nice and have a some heel on them, they're black, they're all different, and I like them all, they're for diff moods. Currently I'm really digging new high heel mary janes I got. they're pretty.

my fav corset I have and the one I wear most often is black brocade from fredericks of hollywood.

I have a silk dress that is black and has dark roses on it that I like a lot and is very comfy, for work.

my fav necklace is really a fav pendant, a large onyx tear drop type thing, it was my grandmothers (diff grandmother then the wife of the above mentioned grandfather) ..

my fav skirt for work and going about town and stuff is a long ankle length black skirt that my mom made me about 8 years ago. It's more loose then it's ever been (yay for losing weight) but it still fits great and I love it!

My blue spandex tights, which are, admittedly, more of a vague threat than a garment.

Oh, and my spider-man gloves.

That was anything but vague.

But yeah, I'd have listed that as well, if it weren't so drafty.
