ABSENTEE AND EARLY VOTING INFORMATION

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

ABSENTEE AND EARLY VOTING INFORMATION

Post by Mercurygriffin »

I will miss the nov. 2 voting polls due to being on a bus back to knoxville from FL. How would one go about casting a vote early or do I have to chose my woman over voting this year?

I heard something about this on the news the other day. They are expecting record numbers of early voting, so there should be lots of places set up to handle it all. I guess it'll be in the next few weeks. NPR will talk about it again, so I'll let you know when I hear a date & place I can take you to, man. I may vote early too, just because I know Tuesdays are my biggest day for classes & my time will be quite limited that day.

Thanks. That was one of my concerns, and now it looks like I will be able to make my voice heard after all. YAY!

I have a voting question. I have been so busy and working office hours i can't really get thru to an office. I have never voted before but i am registered in Anderson co. Well it seems as though i have (big surprise) :?: lost my voting card and i was wondering, can i take my I.D. or do i need another card. If i do need another card where do i get one?
I will lose myself tommorrow, Crimson pain my heart explodes, My memory in a fire,And someone will listen,At least for a short while...

You need some form of identification with your signature. You don't have to have the voter registration card.

In Anderson county, the early voting locations are different. I'm fairly sure there's one in Oak Ridge, I'll look it up.
