Pre-Sanctus drinks at Urban

Post by shadow dancer »

There have been quite a few new people popping up on the forum lately and several people who weren't aware, so for those that don't know, there are usually several people that go to Urban Bar and Grill in the Old City for some low key conversation, drinks, a little competition on the crack box and most importantly food, as one of the attendees will attest to.
We usually meet around 8 PM before Sanctus, although I reserve the right to continue to be late. Anyone who wants to join is welcome.

Being fairly unfamiliar with downtown, could I ask roundabouts where I could find this place?

Two questions:
Which direction are you coming from?
Are you familiar with the location of Blue Cats?

Coming from Farragut. And yes, I've been to Bluecats a couple times, so won't have much worries finding it again.
Yes, I could just mapquest it, but then my post count doesn't rise!

Urban is just down the street from Blue Cats. (Basically, leave Blue Cats, turn right and walk down the sidewalk. You'll end up right in front of Urban.) Its on the same corner as Patrick Sullivans, Hannahs and Manhattans. There is a patio outside, but we are usually all inside near the bar.

Ahh, alright That'll be easy enough to find then. Any word on what style of cuisine they serve?

Actually, Urban's calamari is really good. I've had to force myself to quit eating it when I've been there in order to branch out and try some other things on their menu. The mushrooms are really good too.

If I can get my ass in gear early enough to make it down there, I will, but I'm always running late on Sundays, so who knows!

The curly fries were very good, but the grilled chicken with provalone & american was simply divine.

Sorry about the double Ring of Fire.. the music box hates me.
