PLANET EARTH: birthplace of culture
Spent a helluva lot of time there. It was the only club worth going to until the Boiler Room opened its doors. Try to be there, but December 25th is an awkward day. Most folks won't be able to make it on that day. So many will be out of town. Hell, I might be too. Who knows...

I can't presume to know for certain, but as I understand all are welcome. This is a night to pay homage to the "orginal" alternative bar in Knoxville.
Planet Earth was for us folk not just a club, but a defining era. The begining of a club scene for the Goth kids. It was a safe haven for open minded individuals. It was a place too find all the people who were just as or more freaky than you were.
I have soooooo many fond memories (though some are a little buzzed fuzzed). I still shake my head when I walk by it's old front door.... How many nights I had sat on those steps cooling down from dancing on the second floor..... *sigh*
Without Planet Earth, there would not likely be a Sanctus now, maybe not even a KnoxGothic....at least not from my end of things.

You said it perfectly. Yes. You are welcome.
