Kevin's Karaoke @ Amnesia on Wed. Nights

If there's anyone that miss the skaraoke days at the Giant Panda, it can be revitalized again. Kevin, who ran karaoke at the Panda, has a karaoke gig at Amnesia starting this Wednesday night. He told me it would run between 9pm and 3am. Also, he'll be DJing 70's and 80's music on Saturday nights there on the alternating weeks with Temple.

skaroke was and iveys thing not the panda but kevin's shows are highly entertaining and people should come out i will probley be there

I am so there next Wednesday, popped in and saw Barry? the bouncer from Asylum, he's now the manager. We talked a bit about the nights, Karaoke, Temple and the alternating 80's night on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays. $4.50 DBW's my children, let us sing the praises of the lush.

yea me and sawah stopped in last night and the place has a new look to it with new lights and such and george tell me you took out sawah new high score on boxxi thats all i hear last night was how she got 1 million on boxxi

Sorry about the event not taking place last night. I would've gone myself if it wasn't for my stuffed sinus and sore throat. The e-mail Kevin sent me did say that this week was the week Amnesia would start karaoke. I'll double-check next time.

Looks like it was Dustin Sawah Taro and myself represent. Had to leave early for work but had a blast. Next time more of you gotta come out.

Yes last night was fun kevin is in the process of working out the bugs in the soundsystem should be finshed by next week.There was a table of ladies next to us who were a hoot and kept me in stitches all night long.

Just a word of warning though. I saw Kevin yesterday and he told me that one of his employees will be working the karaoke system tonight and after. Kevin got into a disagreement with the owner of Amnesia. Apparently they hired a guy named Dave, he was the one with the cowboy hat last week, to be some host personality for the karaoke show. Kevin didn't see the point, but the owner stated he was funny, so there's going to be some sideshow comedy routine going on in-between singers. Also, Kevin is afraid the guy will put himself up to sing like two or three times in a row. Anyway, he just wanted to let everyone know that it wasn't his decision to have some MC personality running the show.

had i known this info i would not have gone. the "mc" as you called him was as about as funny as takin one of x's clothesline the sound is still off but i still rocked them like a hurricane
