Deadjester picked this up at Dragon Con. It's a pretty cool flick. It's one of those actors on a completely CGI-rendered background movie, like "Skycaptain". They say this is the first one.

It's set in the future in New York where a pyramid carrying the gods Horus, Anubis, and Bastet arrive. Horus has a trial to complete.

I love the look and feel of this movie. Some of the scenery reminded me of "The Fifth Element". They had flying cars and also a girl with blue skin and blue hair. Horus was a smart-ass and that was great.

This sounds like a story they use to puplish in Heavy Metal is there an astronaught that falls out of the sky frozen and his leg breaks off and gets stolen? If it is the same story this should be fantastic (this story actually was one of the french storyies that inspired the production design of the fifth element.)

It is based upon "La Foire aux immortels" and "La Femme piège". Two French comics by Enki Bilal. It's very possible it may have been in Heavy Metal magazine. There's a man who falls out of the sky after being in cryogenic storage. He loses a leg and Horus crafts him a new one made of metal.
