Hey Everyone

Post by James »

Hey all, im pretty new at this whole forum thing. My names James but if you've heard of me you probably know me as Lady Ivanna's cousin from far far away. Just moved here recently to help take care of my cousin and start a new life. I've been to temple twice and a party here once. I tend to be the really tall guy quiet in the corner nursing a bottle/glass. From all of you i met, i dont remember names well or screen names so feel free to drop me a line so i can get familiar with everyone. From all of you ive met and remember(which is a few) i think you're very cool and since i'm so damn quiet i was hoping you guys could maybe get to know a bit more about me on here since im not going anywhere anytime soon. Well my fingers are pretty tired now and i think i've rambled enough. I'm looking foreward to getting to know you and i hope the feeling is mutual.

Have a mediocre day,
James

Hi James! Nice to see you on the board, man. We've met a couple of times now. I'm the short, round one with specs. We met first at Lady I's & then at the last Temple.

You're obviously a very generous soul. I look forward to getting to know you.

Welcome aboard! :D

Welcome to the forum. Shawn introduced us at Temple, but I can't think of any good way to descibe myself (Black hair, wearing all black doesn't do a whole lot of good around here.) I'm sure we will meet again at some time, so I will re-introduce myself at that point.

Howdy :) I can be nearly certain we've never met, but that the day is coming So greetings and enjoy yourself. Now if you're wanting us to get to know you, you're gonna have to open up and share a bit :) So, to start it off.. Age? Height? hair color? Hobbies? Musical interests? Literary influences? General "style"? Life experiences you care to share? Any amusing anectdotes you have? What's your favorite joke? Favorite movie? What kind of movies do you watch? Any phobia's we should watch out for (Or exploit ;) ). C'mon, open up, share a bit :) Looking for someone, or just a good time?

Talking about myself...this should prove to be interesting

Post by James »

Im truly horrible at talking about myself but Lord Hades is right and I imagine being in my little shell is not gonna get me to far so here goes...

First of all the most prominent thing people notice upon meeting me is my chest, im 6'6 so i generally have to down to talk to everyone. Was born in nothern Idaho on May 14th 1980 (making me 24 and a taurus...sure you figured it out though). Im guessing i weigh about 215 making me lean..skinny is a bad word. I have a mix of dark brown reddish hair down to the middle of my back and dark green eyes. My mother being a freckle faced redhead and father being a 6'10 hulking wall of meat. So i fell comfortably in the middle. Its taken awhile for me to find hobbies that i dont get bored with to quick but i love listening to music. I lean more to the heavy side: Acid Bath, Sepultura, Pantera, Metallica (back when they were cool). But in general i can get into anything except country and pop :P As far as Authors/poets there is a long list so i wont go into all of it but i like reading Poe, Hawthorne, Robert Frost, Hemingway, Emily Dickinson, Tolkien, Terry Brooks. I also enjoy writing my own poetry and short stories. Haiku rules! ........Now im at a loss ....hmmm Ah yes verbaly bashing those that exasperate me and sarcasm are also hobbies i take great pride in. Road rage is fun. Only phobia i can think of is small confined spaces...a common fear for large people...heights kinda suck too. Falling down when youre up as high as me is bad, my head does reach terminal velocity before it hits the ground. I also seem to have a knack for breaking bones and getting hit by moving vehicles (not on purpose of course). Well i think ive typed enough for now any more questions you may have feel free...I may be quiet but when i do talk you can be sure youll hear exactly what im thinking.

Until next time I remain,

James

Welcome :)

Nice musical tastes...

It's always good to find other people who are into metal...

Are you into black metal type stuff too, by any chance?

Dude, we didn't get to talk a whole lot, but if you're looking for things to do that don't involve heavy drinking or beautiful women, *chuckles* there's a bunch of magic drafts that go on in town all the time. Costs range from around 7-10 dollars per draft, and given that it's a draft, not having a collection's no big deal. Could get you some familiarity with the new sets. Kamigawa's looking VERY cool, and the newest "joke" set just came out, so that looks to be some bloody fun drafting.
