a well designed, easily navigatable (sp?), web site for our out of town friends that need stuffs - face it , there isnt much available for our friends in nashville or ashville either
this might open their eyes a bit and make the trip worthwhile esp if they combine a shopping trip with sanctus or temple

quality leather stuff (the best leather gear is usually DIY stuff)
any clothing /accessories that are medieval / dark looking.

and yes, gothic / spooky home decor is awesome.

If you're all about some importing things, I like a lot of japanese stuff like Pocky (they're little chocolate covered cookie stick things) and stuff like that.

I'm thinking thick, sturdy black cargo pants with metal around the pockets. For the lanky guys, pants with a 29" waist and at least 32" in-seam. Whenever I find pants small enough in the waist, they are too short. Back me up on this, Spooky Pete. I wonder if I can get into a 27" waist...

If I thought there was a market for ceremonial wands, I'd offer, but I doubt there is.

I'm seconding JC on the steel-toed men's boots. Though he didn't say steel-toed, that's important and probably obvious.

The hardest thing about finding pants in my size is that most manufacturers don't go below a 30 waist (I'm a 29). That's why you see me wearing jeans all the time, because I can actually find them realtively easily. As far as slacks go, there are only two ways to go for me, the 30 waist and the children's section. Size 30 makes me feel like I should be in a MC Hammer video. Kids pants fit okay, but the pockets are too small for all my stuff and it's kinda tight in the junk, so no cameltoe / Tom Jones impersonations for you ladies. :roll:

So if somebody had pants in my size it would definitely peak my interest in spending my money there.

We are hoping to open a physical location sometime this spring, until then you will be able to support us in affording all this stuff you want and being able to afford a physical location by buying our wares at Sanctus and Temple!

Flying monkey robots? I think I have that one covered...LOL. Seriously, it sounds like you all have some good ideas going. Lord Hades, I strongly recommend you check out Greene's Military Surplus. They have lots of cool stuff, like knives, fatigues, and kevlar hoods. I think the store is more geared toward club wear, etc.

Yes! I agree with the Manic Panic accessories all the way. Not just nail polish and hair dye(which it better include the snow white toner as Sally Beauty Supply fails to carry it) but foundation, fake eyelashes, and other various cosmetics of theirs dammit!

I also agree with sinful on the fake hair falls.

Also, we need some "Cyber Goth" representation here. I've never seen a single store anywhere around here that carries what I'd call cyber. Clothing brands such as Dane, Cybertart, Couch, Span Limb, etc.

And ugh, I can't believe how Torrid is starting to change. Now I officially won't be able to buy any larger sizes in "goth" clothing from an "offline" retailer, unless I want to travel to some larger city. (Keep the plus size audience in mind too, your competition is about to diminish.)

I am much looking forward to the opening of your store.

She owned a store in NYC and currently has a website. She sells gothic clothing and shoes. I believe he was suggesting that she may be able to help you find wholesellers and general sites/stores you can order merchandise from.

Also, after my husband bought and won two shirts from Buttercup last night he had some suggestions.

He wants more retro stuff. From clothing to vinyl, to things for the home. None of that crappy over priced hot topic shit, if I am quoting him correctly. Also, something about retro cowboy shirts?? I am not sure but I think he was drunk on that last one

Oh honey,we certainly have some fun things in store for you all. I love clothes and I love fashion and I, nor my mother who raised me, have never understood why people would want to blend in with the rest of society...why not have fun and express your individuality?

A good start for band shirts, would be older bands...Such as Iggy Pop, Bowie, New York Doll, Alien Sex Fiend, etc...Also, Industrial bands...Especially, newer bands...EN, Front 242, Throbbing Grissle, Pigface...& The newer bands...Bile, Nocturne, Zeromancer, etc...I'm not sure how hard some of these would be to find...But REALLY worth a look...
