eh, wasn't a jab whatsoever really...
the people who have sat and read thru this thread, have obviously had nothing better to do. I personally did not read the entire thing, cus there is horrid misuses of grammer all over the bloody place(not unlike my post), and the fact that no one has really had anything truelly good to say.
I also wrote that post whilest being incredibly fucking tired...for christs sakes, i couldn't remember to throw the "jabs" as you might put it in with Fear...cus i could throw uppercuts with those fuckers and still not do enough damage.
Regardless....i tend to moreless agree with you, on the episode of punk is dead. Perhaps the mentality of it isn't, and therein you can make argument that thoughts never die, they just regroup and repackage (hints rockabilly to punk, and apparently punk to...grinding a woodchipper across a horsesass to a repetitive beat). Good nice rock is dead right now...i pity for that, but i have enough stuff to last me till whenever something good does infact come out again.
Try new off the wall shit out? i guess i could, but really, do i have fucking time to? the simple answer, no. I could look thru magazines, pick something that sounds cool out, and wait for it to come in the mail....i COULD do that, if i could manage to find time to smell my shit after it leaves my ass, or for that matter wipe either, cus i barely find time to let my ass hit the rim.
There a quick post (perhaps not well thought out for you travis, but a rebuttle noless). i did that in a whole 3 minutes, while changing from work clothes to work out clothes, so i can go sweat my ass off for 2 hours, so i can come home, go to bed, and do it all again tomorrow.
and food for thought, i'll spill every last braincell i have on a mat, if it continues to make me nearly as happy as i am right now with it. Music, thats your thing....wrestling is mine....and i do it well...and i'm not punchy....not yet anyway, but thanks for the concern.
Okay everybody, love a heated discussion as much as anyone, but lets leave out the personnal attacks on other users. I realise that most of this is in the good ol spirit o punk. However, I REALLY don't want to start having to moderating this thread...and there's been some posts pushin the line.

at any rate call divorce what you will i know mitch and maggie pretty well
and know that the spirit is there
but at least it's more than must bangin out three chords and bitchin about the same old tired shit
there's some depth to it
unlike most "punk" these days
so maybe it's the word that's getting lost in translation in the time period
i'd rather be your enemy than hear you call me friend
also, how does a song about an old boss and her moustache qualify as "bitching about the same old tired shit"?
cos, y'know, of all the songs I've written, that's probly my favorite
and it's more than three chords
it's actually a pretty complicated song
yes, I am aware you have no idea what I'm rambling on about

You have a good point. Punk ...the word has been violated bad and these days the kids have been mis-led as to what punk ROCK really is. (some have studied and know the truth). Some kids think spiked hair or clothing is punk...its not. Though I do not mind it, alot of my friends dress that way, but that does not make them any more punk rock then me, or anybody else for that matter.
I think it may be corporate tie wearing golfers that said "hey we can go to Cancun for a year if we take this to the mall and say this is punk".
