My first Sanctus!
(Sorry if this is the wrong place to be posting this.. it's kind of late)
I had promised a person or two that I would make it to Sanctus. Given I had implied this about a year ago I'm a little late but soo glad I did. Let me preface my remarks by first qualifying myself as someone who has danced for years at various clubs throughout the Southeast. Ooh how qualified I sound!
*Everyone was nice! Very nice, even to shy/awkward strangers. I was impressed by how friendly everyone was. This really made my night.
*You guys can dance. There was more great dancing - people just having fun and letting loose - than I've seen in a very long time. It was great fun to be dancing in the middle of the dance floor, not just hiding the corners. Good grooves going on.
*The set lists were interesting. Not the same old stuff that I'm used to hearing in say, Atlanta. Near the end some covers were played that were totally kickass. I still can't get over that cover of Eleanor Rigby.
*Can we say Bevy of Hotness? Where the heck were you people when I lived in Ktown? Oy.
*I only wish the night could have gone on longer.
I had a total blast. I don't know when I'll be back, but I'll definitely try and stop by sometime in the future.
Oh yeah, I was the girl with the long dark hair, wearing a tasteful Einsteurzende Neubauten shirt of a horse ejaculating on the front.

You looked sooo like my old friend Alison, I almost did a double take! We really enjoyed your dancing too, btw. I wanted to tell you in person but we were both too busy dancing, I guess. I was the older, round chick with the long, 2 tone hair (black & brown). Come dance with us again soon!

Change how you see, not how you look.

Thanks for the kind words and glad you had a good time. Hope you can make it out again soon. Next one will be Sunday Jan 16th!
Have to say I had one of the best times in a LONG time at Sanctus last night. Thanks to all who came and made such a great party!

Thanx for coming out!!!
The song I played from Silent Hill 4 was actually "Your Rain" on the CD I have. My bad.

Last night was one helluva party. It was nice to sit back and watch so many people smiling, laughing, talking, dancing and just having a good time. Good job by Jason, Johnathan, Andrew, Jake, Michael and all others involved with the night.
My only suggestion would be to bring the shadow boxes back out to the sides of the stage. Its hard for the crowd to enjoy the lovely ladies dancing in them with them behind the DJ equipment. Of course, that is just my personal opinion.

I'm not wicked. I'm just viciously mischievous.

Duely Noted. That was my fault. I was trying to make it so that I could use some if the lighting from the back of the stage. I guess the trick is to present a pleasing stage set up that allows the lighting to do it's job at the same time. I feel the shadow boxes are important though and after all what fun is dancing behind them if you can't be seen.

I got the bonus of visiting my whole family and friends for the Holidays and attending Sanctus! I was lucky enough to check the web site and see it was moved to the 26th. It was a lot of fun and good to see a lot of old faces and few new ones. Good to see Shadowdancer, Celticsmith, Trance, Bone and my friend Shay...damn man, I can't remember your screen name! Great night and great music! So great I got the flu today...it should make driving home a barrel of laughs!
Anyway, hope to see you all soon and STAY WARM....Again, this state is freezing!!

I think I remember you, plantyhamchuk, but then I think I remember alot of different things. I was the guy with long hair wearing black, which I guess doesn't really narrow it down.
hmmmm
Well there for awhile I had this pink sweatered ornament dancing with me and embarassing her friends. Or maybe I was embarassing her friends... She had this kind of frentic in-your-face style of dancing which made me think she'd spent too much time at Liquid or Cotton Eyed Joes and thought that was how cool people danced and aren't we silly for dancing so beautifully.
Sadly, I lost her to Ari, but then I don't really blame her.
heh
Glad you had a great time, perhaps we will see you again.
