Ummm. It is called quoting. There is a button for it. It's so people know what you are responding too.

Hey, I'm all for you making a successful go at forming a successful band. The original post was just very authoritarian about what you specifically wanted people to do. It sounded like you needed some clones to just do what they are told. So yeah, that got some snarky responses. But what did you expect from a message board?

And Recluse? Hey, Recluse is as Recluse does  That's why we all like him so much! He was offering you some advice though...Consider some of it before dismissing him entirely. He's one of the people whose judgement I generally trust when it comes to recommending good music.

i dunno. ive pulled out entire albums in 3 month time spans. if you arent listening to the inputs of more than a few people its possible.
do i reccomend it?
no.
im in the area, and i could probably help some i guess, but my level of comittment would depend on how much i liked the recorded project.
al knows how to find me.
if he hits the level that he'd work with me, lol, come find me and talk to me in person about it.
im bored, new projects are always welcome. i just finished one anyway.

He doesn't read the fine print.

Go Figure?

Well considering that out in the real world, yes. Time is a commodity, even tho I'm not some big shot corporate record label who has minions to look over the fine print and then run it through the red tape so I can hear a sample and give the ole yea or nay without knowing shit about the band or even an indie type label who for the most part have to work their asses off and may have a few minutes to hear a track or two inbetween 10 or so other projects that they have going on at the moment.
As for the 14 year old comment well I think its fucking hilarious because its stabbing at the ultimate drama producer "gother than thou" coz you know we shouldn't date outside our species (gasp) for our bleak hearts *staples hand to forehead* and excessive eyeshadow (le sigh) obviously prove that we are superior to rednecks (ok that is a given) republicans (ok that too, I should give up before I bury myself here [ooOOoo how goth]) and real people (Skip! Skip! Skip! [kudos to those that get that one])

omg. One of the many reasons I like George.
