Some of you who were at the coffeeshop last night know that Derrick's dad had heart surgery today. I just wanted to let everyone know that the surgery went fine and he's recovering now. They expect him to be released either tomorrow or Monday. Luckily, they only had to put stints in and there were no complications.
Thanks to everyone for warm wishes and concern. I know Derrick was pretty torn up about whether to go to Nashville for the surgery or stay here and work Memorial Day weekend. I'm hoping he can rest easier now knowing that things are looking up for his dad.
Thanks again!
Expect the end of the world. Laugh.
Laughter is immeasurable. Be joyful though you have considered all the facts.
