LOL

OK, this is the sort of thread I avoid like the plague, but I have to step in here and say that you shouldn't dis Crowley unless you've read everything he's done. Sure, he wasn't always 100% original, but nobody is. You don't have to be saying something new to be saying something true.
Read his "Little Essays Towards Truth" before condemning him as nothing but a "shock artist".

I was born a bastard - and then I just got worse.
I like that book.
Especially that really wicked, original spell.. how's that go? Let's see, translated into Engrish...
"May the mighty mountain fall upon you!"
"May the mighty mountain crush you!"
"May the mighty mountain shit on your doorstep and molest your cat!"
Yeah, that's it. Well, the gist of it, anyway.
Oh, and junkie and JaNell are right. It's fiction. Lovecraft at his best - post-mortem.
Silly gooses.

And...I was right as well. Blah.
As far as Crowley...I always did enjoy reading "Diary Of A Drug Fiend". That's a good read.
Not quite "orginal" for that time...But, hey! You spend about two weeks in Egypt all hopped on Cocaine and Herb...Searching for Enlightenment...See what kinda book you write.

I think that's mentioned somewhere in the Necronomicon as a sign of the coming of Yog-Shogoth.
*hands Yog-Shogoth a towel*

Well, super sexy Davey Havok of AFI and Son of Sam writes most of his lyrics about that stuff.
I'm not even going to begin to discuss my religion or beliefs on a public forum though. (watch the star and see if it lands upright...
)
Anyway, I will say that after all the crap I've been through-NOTHING scares me anymore.
