Some may be obvious, but there are many screen names here that I am curious about. What made you think of your screen name or where did you get it from?

scag maggot is my name on aim
that came from a punk band i was in with two other guys called
"the maggots" all of our last names were maggot
the scag part came from a late night trip to the waffle house
some dude in front of me on the road had a sticker that scag on his truck
and all of us were laughing all the way there at this guy
so i kept it

i was watching, um, er, tv (mad mad house) and i needed a name (to enter the contest in which one would meet the mad mad house people) and i thought, 'hey, bloodymerry, instead of bloody mary, i'm bloody merry, ha ha!' oh the cleverness of me. of course, it could have been inspired by the psychic vampire guy's blood drinking ritual. who knows?

good question, by the way. i've also wondered about some of the screen names on here.

well i got my first name because my real name is melissa and someone told me once that i was malicious so it sort of stuck
and my last name scam comes from being "penetrated" by dody scam...lol
also, the scams are a band that i am in.... we all have nick names cannibal scam, dody scam, reverned scam and melicious scam.
we are a weird dysfunctional family.

Well, there's a wrestler that I like and he calls himself Raven. He used to have a group that was referred to as Raven's Flock. In my dreams, I am the Queen of that flock (because I *heart* Raven). Yes, I did just say I *heart* him.

So yeah...it's nothing to do with "Goth" or anything really.

Mine used to be 'LadyIvanna'. I went through a period of time where I needed to accept a side of myself that I kept trying to deny. Pryjmaty(pronounced 'prij-mat-ee') means 'to accept' in Ukrainian. I chose that because part of my family comes from Odessa, Russia.

Back when I was working for my mom (before she went on disabitly b/c of her MS) My ex bf (but still my best freind) came over (at the time he worked on the UT campous and well my mom's law office was just a tolry ride away) with a idea for a book he had been working on. We talked and he told me that he joined a werewolf rpg group and asked if I would like to join too. I really didn't know anything about werewolves but I said sure why not it could be fun. So when I got home I downloaded yahoo messager and i got to thinking ok if I'm going to join a werewolf rpg gruop then i must have a good weerwolf name. I I got to thinking and I was liek ok I got one. I tried wolfs_Bane but it was already takin so I put the word togeather and used 382. I liekd it so much that I deiced to keep it and I just use Wolfs_Bane for message bords and chat rooms.

When I got a computer in 2000, I had to choose a name for the msn discount, and I didn't want to use my name, so I though of my cat. At the time I ahd a cat named Hades, and I thought well some people call Hades hell, and my cat is rather evil, so I came up with satanskittie. and I spelled it with an 'ie' cause I didn't like how it looked with a 'y' Then I got on another message board system and that name was taken so I chose satanskitten, and it's been with me since. and it's my name pretty much everywhere. except my messengers.

I used to use "Tanis006". When I first got online service, I wanted to be nick named after characters I really liked. Thus I was trying to mix Tanis Half-Elven from Dragonlance and James Bond. AOL rejected Tanis007, so I tried Tanis006 and that stuck. After using that for a bit and starting to play Diablo 1 online, I had joined a guild on there based loosely around Drow mythology from Forgotten Realms, and part of joining the guild was having a character with a Drow name for the chat room. Was kind of a silly psuedo-roleplaying thing. But they coined me the name Alur, which evidently means "savage killer" in the faux Drow language someone wrote up. I never thought I really personified that meaning, but I like the sound of the name, so Alur006 has been what I've stuck with ever since.

razor is short for razorhead or.. RaZorHeaD.

back in the days of BBS's and 2400 baud modems I used to play TradeWars on quite a few of the knoxville boards. I had quite a few different handles on quite a few different boards.. on one I started a game with the name RaZorHeaD and a Corp. called Sharp Inc. Silly I know, especially with the upper/lowercase letters.. but it was a bit different back then ('91ish), everyone used handles like that.

Anyway, somehow.. when I ended up running my own board (Electronic Adventures) that ended up being the handle that I used.

It got shortened to razor back in 95ish when I set up my USIT account as you could only have an 8 char. username.

I still commonly use razor, razorh, and razorhead, depending on what the situation calls for... one of these days I'll get around to doing something interesting with razorhead.com :p

I still say 'Vader ought to have a "2400 day" and use traffic shaper to throttle KG down to 2400 baud for a day.

Arthas got back in contol eventually! Now he's killed and absorbed all the powers of the Lich King and is the most powerful being known to be alive (unalive?) on Azeroth. He kicked Illidian's ass off of the world prior to gaining that power too, he's become quite the badass.

I love Warcraft lore. ^_^

Abree Franchetti was a name I used in Vampire.

I liked the name Abree, it was different to me. I was going to use it in a story I was writing, but decided to use it for myself.

My very first screen name was XziolaBlue. (yep, spelled that way because the other was taken)

Everyone in my boyfriends band had "S" names, and all the people associated with them at that time did too. Since I was going to be answering their "fan mail" and writing their newsletters and stuff, I figured I would need an "S" name too. I used Sage, or xSagex for a while.

After I decided to use Abree, I decided it needed another name to go with it. The word Skye looked pretty beside it, so that's it. Been using it since...97 or 98? I think...

XziolaBlue - 95 or 96
Sage, xSagex - 96

And, my aim name, mizkunt...well, cunt is one of my favorite words

mines retarded....they are just too things that i think are hump-worthy......and dont even start that it is about johnny depp...it isnt....I liked pirates waaaay before that started...anyway my other name is noilliberality....I use it on my messengers because I used to be a dirty hippie and all through my life I have had those people that said DONT DO THAT OR ACT LIKE THAT....so illiberality is when people suppress the freedoms of others....and i say "no".....and I feel like a dumb ass now
