Knox County Schools Closed Due To Illness

"Knox County Schools will be closed Friday and Monday.

Due to widespread student and staff illness, Knox County Schools will be closed Friday, February 4th and Monday February 7th. Central Office and Maintenance will continue operations as usual."

Too bad they have to go back the 8th. That's my baby girl's birthday. She's turning 15 (& yes, I still call her my baby).

I wish college closed for the flu. Half of my geography class (normally 350 kids) was missing today.

the hubby and i just got immunized thursday..this handy dandy stuff you spray up your nose. It felt incredibly wrong placing live virus into my head. I'm getting the kids immunized Monday..wheee.

i hate to tell ya all this but the vaciene is a different strane that this one it has mutated ..... i know this because i did get a shot and am now sick has shit.... and yes shit is very sick...... i got the shot about a month agio....

if you people would not go get vaccinated every damned year the virus would mutate a whole lot less.

i have never gotten a flu shot (except when i was really young). and i hardly ever get the flu.

I agree, that getting the shot is a horriable thing. Then again, I don't even take asprin...nor other medication when perscribed. I've never had the flu....knock on wood...and you know why? Because I give my immune system hell! it makes that guy strong.
