Hey, if anybody wants I can walk by the "Raven" on Avenue A and say hello to Voltaire for you if he's in town that's where he hangs out watching TV Friday night usually.

I've spoke to him several times (I don't know him really well) But I've seen his band and he returned the favor by seeing Dead Emotion http://deademotion.com/ at Alchemy at CBGB's Gallery 313
I'll let him know he has a loyal fan base down in Knoxville, Tennessee, as if he didn't know.

Image

That is his kid in photo, but don't quote me. @ The Batcave
http://albionnyc.com/

If anybody doesn't know that story Dead Emotion opened up for Bella Morte at the Batcave last June and The owner at the time Neville Wells at the end of the night when I went to get paid was high as a kite and refused to pay my band later that night he ran a stop light in Mnahattan broad sided a passenger car and killed a woman, then tried to flee the scene but was held by bystanders until the police arrived, That'll teach you not to pay me.
from the time he didn't pay me til the accident was about 15 minutes, bad karma.

Hal Gould a very upstanding individual who was Neville's partner at the time now runs the Batcave. He used to run a little place called "The Bank" back in the nineties on Houstan street and that was when the limelight was really happening but actually back in 96 I saw "London after Midnight" at the Batcave.

But actually back in 1983 when I worked at a little club called Danceteria in Manhattan was the first time I ever saw the Sisters of Mercy and the second time in 1985.

and I guess everyone has heard "Bauhaus" is playing a reunion show out in San Francisco next year.

anyway, I liked hanging out at Temple, everyone read so much crap into my post but I thought the owner was a cool guy and there were a lot of cool people there,

We liked going, but it is a 4 hour drive in one evening for us.

maybe you'd like to volunteer and drive us?

and I've already clearly stated that if the event is filled with too much different music that turns me off.

I have to listen to all kinds of music where ever I go to a normal people club, If i'm going go to a normal people club I can go any place in Johnson City which is 20 minutes away.

I go to clubs for the atmosphere, people and music, where the music is the only thing you can't escape from in a club,

If I'm paying to enter a club, I am paying because I like the entire atmosphere not 50% or thats the best it can be. I'm paying which means I'm the customer, if I decide not to go for what ever reason so be it.

the 4 hour drive and the music could be anything? essentially.

ok it's cool it's fun most of the people are very cool but the nagging question of the music being whatever is something I can't escape into another room to get away from something I dislike, especially if I'm paying to enter.

You might enjoy all the music played that's great, but don't tell me what to do.

And I really enjoyed your set at Acerbus Luminarium dj jay if that was you.

It's so hard to tell on this board who anyone is, very few provide in depth profiles on this board, I certainly don't know who told me what, where on this board.

Everyone runs cloaked?

It was merely a suggestion that you attend Temple, since you said you enjoyed hanging out there...............relax.

You did meet me at Temple and Bev and I have spokeon more than one occasion. You see, many of us attend Temple/Sanctus regularily therefore we know who everyone is. Called it cloaked if you like, I like to call it having fun with friends.

But seriously, you need to lighten up. I did not realize that OTO/Crowley followers were this uptight :) At least not the ones I have met. We are all out to enjoy ourselves at these events. If you do not like it, so be it.

I may have met you but I don't know you?

nor do you know me.

why don't you lighten up on the sarcasim and attacks directed towards me, and I won't tell you that your forward, rude, uninformed and crass when it comes to your subjective opinions of me.

I said nothing about you but if you want me to, I can and will bring it on...

Be very very careful what you say about me. Just don't go there.

Waaaaaaaaah!!!

Are you actually threatening people? Uh oh.

Bon Jovi says, "You give Goff a Bad Name."

Sinfulfetish was actually being cool... maybe you should re-read it when you're calm. Lighten up. Please.

It's getting boring.
Sure, I'll try to be nicer, if you try to be smarter.

I'm sorry but if anyone is being a drama queen here, that would be you. I try to avoid the conflicts when they fire up here...it's not my nature to be involved in them since I'm very non-confrontational BUT you actually MENTIONED Temple first in your FIRST post on this thread. You said
I wish we could come back to Temple though, I had a good time there.

regardless of whether it was goth or not
and then said
anyway, I liked hanging out at Temple, everyone read so much crap into my post but I thought the owner was a cool guy and there were a lot of cool people there,
. You could have just let this be a promotion for what you are doing but you did mention Temple first. All Sinful_Fetish was doing was saying, if you missed people then come back out. She wasn't asking you to jump her ass for inviting you to come back out and have fun if you enjoyed it so get off of it and quit being a prima donna.

Aliester please refrain from writing things like this..

"I said nothing about you but if you want me to, I can and will bring it on...

Be very very careful what you say about me. Just don't go there."

This can be very easily be taken as a threat. We don't like threats on the board. I understand that there is a possibility you didn't mean to imply that you were threatning anyone but it comes across like that.

Back on subject....
Sorry Chili and I missed your show. I've been wanting to take him to NYC for the longest time.
Maybe you could do a set for a Temple night. Ya know... all goth... all night....we could make it a "Goth" Temple night. We'd like to see you and Bev again. I think Jay could be talked into that. Just let us know how you feel about it.
Hope to see you soon.
BTW.... you need a link to your music so we can all check out a goth accoustic set. I'm most intrigued by this concept.

Voltaire was there, afterwards

Temple is Not Goth

according to everyone on the board,

Everyone is pretty much in agreement.

so I'm implacable about it.

I might like a great deal of people that attend Temple but I have antipathy toward the music being played.

atmosphere atmosphere atmosphere

I enjoy atmospheres in the vein of EBM Goth, industrial maybe a hair of metal, punk and glam and maybe a few other things
and really for me

I play well established venues for money. Money talks

When I say bring it on, I mean talking / communicating not conflagration physically. Not antagonism.

but it certainly sounds like several people will take anything I say "cut and paste it," dimwittedly and then twist it into whatever fits their meaning and then create a post of belligerence claiming they are correct in their opinion of defining what ever it is that I say. get a life, you don't see me cut and pasting do you, grow up.

Cut and paste in this environment is just plain SLOTHFUL.

I have an idea, Why don't you just speak an original thought without cut and paste and make your point that way

and NOW WATCH the next jackass come in here and cut and paste this after I said don't. To make some idiotic point of their subtilizing cleverness to twist what I say it to meaning what they want it too.

That seems very indolent in them proving their own savvy self importance and awareness of their own opinion and further proves my point of antimony!

First...How's this for 'Jackass'?

:fuckoff:

Second...If you want people to give a fuck about your opinions, shows, merch, or you...how about you cut the shit...No one's posted anything in this thread since Feb., other than you...Being the pridemonger that you are is getting on everyone's nerves...I haven't posted shit about you...Because I don't really give a fuck, to be honest...But i know enough about you personally, that you don't want to be throwing stones...This is not a threat, but a statement to make you think...You are not any better than anyone else on this board...Well, ok, maybe a few...But not many...I'm tired of you trying to talk shit about my friends, & other members of this 'community'...So, in my own, humble opinion...Sit the fuck down...Shut the fuck up...& play nice...

BTW, I'm totally waiting for you to 'Cut & Paste' this, & try to twist it around on me...Good luck...
