Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Post by Zeo »

Lucas says this is to be the darkest episode of the saga.
I hope he doesn't disappoint.
The teaser came out Friday. You can watch it here.

Be warned!!! Extreme spoilers ahead. If you do not want to know anything about the storyline or any of the plot. Do not click on this link. But if you're like me and you can't help but want to see what the new movie is going to be like, then this pretty much gives it all away. Plus, I like the fact that I'm sure Lucas is probably pissing himself from anger about this much of a leak.

Grrrrrrrrrr....... I knew I should have saved the pics.....

Sorry folks, at the request of LucasFilm, we had to remove this mirror.

Check out MirrorDot's current mirrors and feel the groove.

And because George Lucas is an asshole. I totally hope that someone leeks a copy of the movie onto the internet before it's released. I personally would wait to see it in the theater because I want to see the special effects on a big screen with surround sound. I would just find the thought of how furious he would be about it getting out on the internet before it's release date. Hell, I bet he would even push the release date up to the Friday after the leak. I mean he stated before that the only reason he released the original trilogy on DVD now instead of after the third movie was because of "piracy." I wonder if Episode III is going to actually be good. I really hope so.

For American audiences, a PG-13 rating has been rumored. All the previous films have been PG... I hope Lucas does not cut it up to prevent that.

Anybody TiVo the trailer? I missed it.
I'm sure it will be on the net next week... it's to be released with 'Robots' in theatres tomorrow.

Lucas Urges Parents To Leave Small Kids Behind for Next 'Star Wars'

George Lucas has predicted that his final Star Wars epic will not receive a PG rating like the previous five films and says he quite accepts losing a significant part of his younger audience. "I don't think I would take a five- or a six-year-old to this," he says in an interview for CBS's 60 Minutes due to air on Sunday. "It's way too strong." The story describes the transition of the heroic Anakin Skywalker into the evil Darth Vader. "We're going to watch him make a pact with the devil," Lucas tells interviewer Leslie Stahl. "[The film] is much more dark. ... It's much more of a tragedy." He said that he expects the film will receive a PG-13 rating.

It gave me chill bumps. I am *SO* looking forward to this movie, even more now than before, if that's possible!
