I'll be there, probably.
If she were a street gang, I'd go to war with her with bottles and chains.

I think we are going to go....

Xas has already taken the day off from work. So has chris....and I'm pretty sure wayne is going...,.

We just have to get money!

Also, Life Of Agony plays atlanta like four days or so after that.....so.... there is a *SLIGHT* chance we will go to that too....

I'm not exactly sure how many LOA fans there are on this board... But, since they are playing a bigger venue (coheadlining with mudvayne) we don't know what to do.....they will probably headline a club tour later or something....I HOPE.

Got my ticket last Saturday. They were awesome the first time I saw them. I was very impressed with their performance.

No Doubt! I saw them in Atlants on the Alienating Our Audience Tour. That was the first time I had seen em. Very surreal! Ive seen em 8 times now, and even went to NYC to see em at the Irving Plaza shows... all 3 nights in a row. I am a nerd wigga!

$16?! Jesus, that's a ripoff. I saw Yo La Tengo and the Flaming Lips and Will Oldham and even frigging Spiritualized for less than that! Mind you, this was at the time Spiritualized had the number one album in the UK. I saw Mogwai TWICE for $12 and $8. Bands/venues should charge ticket prices based on how many people actually give a crap. MSI isn't nearly as well-known as those bands.

I kinda like MSI, but even more, I like the response on somethingawful when a reader wrote "What genre could you possibly fit Mindless Self Indulgence into?"

Response: "Is 'retarded' a genre?"

:D

That's because those bands suck.

Actually, I like some of those bands. But MSI fans will do just about anything to see them live, i.e. pay ridiculous amounts of money for a ticket.

Oh, it's one of those "cult" things.

I guess I sort of see the logic. I mean, the Sun City Girls are pretty obscure, but I'd pay $30 to see them without a second thought.

Meh, 16 bucks ain't way too bad to see em'.

Hell, I payed around $26 to see Skinny Puppy last year, and they aren't that popular anymore.

And as much as I love Trent and all, there is no way I pay up to $200 for a friggin NIN ticket though.
Jesus.
