There will be no Temple @ Amnesia this week

Amnesia is closing its doors today - the lease ran out and the owner of amnesia will not be renewing the lease.

as it stands now there will be NO TEMPLE @ amnesia

we are looking into alternate locations or a possibly break for a while until we are able to secure a satisfactory location.

please keep your eyes peeled and we will do everything we can to keep everyone informed about the future of Temple

With no 11th St. or Temple, the prospects for big social nights are looking bleak. Anyone with scene plans for this weekend please post them here or in Upcoming Events. Temple was the only time I took for myself in my life of work and raising a teen.

I hope Temple finds a new venue very soon and we get right back out there with very little down time. Jay's done a great job in the past 8 months and I for one am confidently counting on him to continue Temple because, let's face it - Jay's parties are worth paying for.

I assume you have attended Temple at least once to even warrant an opinion/reply on this matter. Safely assuming this, I would guess that you noticed that Temple was not a "goth night", but an alternative dance night that welcomed anyone and everyone. Also, Temple was a one night a week event, which I do not believe was created to keep a venue in business. Temple was a great night that I enjoyed immensely and will sorely miss. I certainly did not fid anything laughful about the ending of Temple, but hey opinions are like assholes........
