Surrealist fiction, anyone?

Post by greyeyes »

Has anyone here read Julio Cortez (Cronopio and Famas, Final Exam, etc) or Borges? Since they are South American, I find very few people who have. I adore the surrealistic vein... not quite fantasy. Marquez was certianly not the first to dive into that pool, although 100 Years of Solitude is a fantastic book.
