No matter how cold it sounds, people die everyday. Its probably predisposed how you will die....One person, Forty people, Two million people, people die everyday.....so why should we mourn people that made the news, and not B-Dup who just got shot in a driveby shooting in Los Angeles....

See people, this is what media does to you. It makes you worry about people that you've never met. Feel bad for the families...ok. But if you took a single milisecond to grieve over each and every dead person, and their family everyday, you wouldn't have time to do anything else.

Personally if we are gonna "wage a war on terror" then by all means lets start with the biggest terrorist orginization in the world.

United States Government
“That proves you are unusual, returned the Scarecrow; and I am convinced the only people worthy of consideration in this world are the unusual ones. For the common folks are like the leaves of a tree, and live and die unnoticed.â€

lemme quote out that really good point.
G8 Summit was schedueled to start today...But guess where Blair is...London..."Well...OK...I guess we won't be helping out those kids in Ethiopia...See ya next time, George..."
now someone think about that shit and tell me that governments (i didnt say who) dont fund this shit? they have the most to gain. not ahmed and his minimum wage jyhad.
people dont get up in arms over the deaths in iraq because of its just not popluar opinion and the media distorts it.

JC....Do you really want me to go into this topic?...Oh..Gonna anyway...

Honestly, yes, I think it was all a set up...So that the rest of the world ignores the fact...That the 8 'Most Powerful Countries", aren't doing anything of real value, to help out the rest of the world...

"America: We Profit, Because You Suffer"

And on a side note...Don't any of you think that a terrorist organization would really call itself 'The Secret Society of al-Quada in Europe"...That just seems a bit to comic book villian society to me...They could have named it the "League of Extremely Evil Persons" & been just as intimidating...Smells like poo to me...

Just so you know, there were two women from Knoxville that were injured. But if they had been ones that were killed "nobody would really care", right?

If they wre injured in Knoxville, we would never have heard about it. THAT'S MY POINT. If they were injured in a fire in London, we would never have heard about it.

If you don't think Al-Qaeda or a splinter cell of Al-Qaeda is responsible, who do you think is? The I.R.A.? The C.I.A.?

Please, humor me.

I think arguing over whether or not we "mourn" people enough, or that we mourn everyone who has died "equally" is kind of silly. It's not like their deaths have no meaning, just because a thread wasn't made on KG about it.

The G-8 Summit is in Scotland, not London. Why didn't they strike in Scotland? Why not a government building?
If it were anarchists or an anti-globalization movement, they are certainly emulating Al-Qaeda terror tactics. Three bomb attacks on underground London trains within half an hour, and a double-decker bus 30 minutes later. Bombs weighing under 10 pounds, small enough to conceal on someone's body or backpack. Very similar to attacks being carried out by Al-Qaeda in Iraq.

I feel ya! As long as there are crazy mother f**kers out there, the psychology field will be thriving... no matter what Tom Cruise & the Scientologists say. ;)

Death of any kind is always tragic. I do think its a bit unbalanced to give more weight to certain deaths than to others, but I'm also one of the sappy moms who can't stand to hear about kids being hurt/killed. I guess death too early is like getting ripped off... only riding the ride for a brief moment & not getting your full 10 minutes. Then again, I dig that whole reincarnation idea. Everybody gets another chance at a good time then.

Condolences to the families of the victims of terrorist acts all over the world. Violent death is always harder to deal with.

I am annoyed at how politicised this event is in the US.

If there is a terrorist attack, the administration is vindicated for fighting the "War on Terror".

It there are no attacks, the administration is vindicated in fighting the "War on Terror".

Shan'u fuck?

I am also confused by some of the previous posts in this thread, so maybe the riders of the moral high horse can answer me this: Am I supposed to simply not give a shit about anyone dying, or should I turn into a simpering ball of jelly everytime someone in Jakarta falls off a ladder?

Help me out here...
Got me a movie, I want you to know...

I am glad that someone noticed that too...Not only that...but that it was all over the media how bush an Blair disagreed on G8...

Also...this kind of thing has happened in London and all around the world for years and no one lifted a fucking eye...We get 1 single attack an everyone shits when a bomb goes off in a country that is one of our allies in the war on terror...The ego of America never ceases to amaze me...but then again...neither does mine...

whats really funny is people talk about the attackers of london, the detractors of g8, Al-Qaeda, the governments involvement, etc etc.. like its not all the same thing. funded by the same people.

just a thought.
the links get made at random and have since 9-11 and people just overlook it.
read around other countries news that doesnt have the american filtration system on it.
evolve.

From now on - anything that starts as or degenerates into a topic on "terrorism" is going in the Dumpster.

I, for one, refuse to be "terrorized" and I'm done with it.

Stupid fear-mongering media and government...
