Sept. 2-5 at the Hyatt in Atlanta

The guest list looks good as always. Performances, that are scheduled so far, include Bella Morte, The Cruxshadows, Emerald Rose, Lips Down on Dixie, Voltaire, etc.

My understanding is that there Secret Room is hosting a Superhero themed party on Friday night and a Star Wars themed party on Saturday night. Both will be running costume contests with cash prizes, and both nights are free for 21+ with DragonCon badge. In addition, there will be a shuttle from the Hyatt to the venue all night long.

Late Sunday night, they are hosting a pirate themed ball at the convention.

So, who all is going?

Having missed the last TWO just so someone else would be able to go I am DEFINITELY going this year. It'll be the first vacation I've taken in like 3 years.

with the current financial situation...i say no...that will most likely change tomorrow tho....haven't been to a GOOD con in a while...not that dragon ever was really...GOOD, but at least they had fun stuff to do afterwords.....and a superhero theme with cash prizes reminds me i could win money.....my superhero costumes are the SHIT.

I'll be there

I've already got my pass, and my room at the Hyatt...

This will be my 9th year, I think...

I always look forward to the musical guests.

I'm REALLY looking forward to the Firefly/Serenity crew being there (Joss Whedon is going to actually be there this year too...heheh) I'm hoping that there is a special screening of Serenity....

Last I checked (last night) there were like 219 guests confirmed.

I've never checked out any of the Secret Room parties while I've been at dcon...almost did...but a Superhero party? I may have to check that out!

I'm going and I already have my golden ticket...
oh yeah and James and Oliver Phelps aka the Wesley Twins from Harry Potter will be there! Hell yeah!...plus Gigi Edgely (Ciana on Farscape)
and I'm always up there right in front at The Cruxshadows!

hells yeah I got my pass as well....I pretty much go for the fan boys!and the twins from the harry potter books and movies are going to be there!hehe I love the people that go there! me and my sister (liz P) are going to play the funnyist games on people this year we are telling a guy to go to the wemons restroom and have his pants down and we'll meet him there,then find him and take a pic!!lol well I think I said too much..yeah it will be my 3rd year..

Many of you know Kie (Roseblood) and Robbie (Duckie), friends from Asheville who come to Temple and Sanctus occasionally. They were at Sanctus last night and are without internet access, so I'm posting on their behalf that, yes, they will be at DragonCon. My god-brother Marshall from W.Va. will be there too, and I'm trying to convince him that my friends from KG would be great to hang out with there. eh... that's it for now...
