Hey, I'll be heading down on Friday morning... This will be my first DragonCon, so I'm looking forward to seeing what it's all about.

I'll be participating in some of the panels in the gothic/horror track, too -- so if you're bored, check those out...

Yup, taking a group down there - most if not all have been to Sanctus at least a couple of times.
I know for a fact I'll be participating in Whose Line? in the Brit track, so you all should come check it out. Aaron's my name, and not advancing beyond the first round is my game.

I was planning to go so I could see The Cruxshadows again, but not enough time and money. I hope I can see them somewhere else.

...Just posted this in its own thread, but:
The Cruxshadows will be playing Nashville September 28th!

I thought they gave their all at Dragon*Con -- but the PA system they had in that room was PATHETIC, and the sound was terrible in there!!!! The crowd's clapping and yelling was actually louder than the bass-drum coming through the system! I walked out midway through their set, feeling like they hadn't even been allowed to play.

This was especially sad when you compared it to the sound in the other ballroom, where Bella Morte and Voltaire played. I don't know why they didn't just have ALL the bands in that room. Oh, well...

All the more reason to join us for the Nashville show, right?

Combichrist was also subjected to the same pathetic soundsystem, although they had better luck with the EQ's. All they really lacked was volume (again, you could speak over it, easily...). When they first started playing, it seriously sounded like someone's factory car-stereo, with the doors open. It was that quiet. It was still a great show, though, and I would not miss seeing these guys with a real PA tp back them up.

Reminder: Combichrist and the Genitorturers in Nashville on 9/26 @ The Exit/In. With a real PA system!

That's my mini-review...
