Wanted!!! Sid and Nancy (Criterion Collection)

I have been trying to track down a copy of this out of print dvd for some time now. Ebay prices always go through the roof. Now that I have said that, I am sure that if anyone has a copy, they are going to post it on Ebay. 8-)

If you are a kind soul though, and want to sell this to someone who will truly appreciate this DVD, please let me know. I'm willing to pay around $30.00 for a gently used copy, but am willing to negotiate.

The reason I am looking for the Criterion copy instead of the cheap new release is for all of the extras and the commentary included in the out of print criterion. I'm a geek about that stuff.

No shit! You find that and I'll pay theater prices to come over and watch it..Im a huge pistols fan...(not just because Im a fatass either) seriously tho...while the subjects up Im trying to complete my vinyl interview collection so if anybody sees pistols interview vinyl out there drop me aline...I have the group interview and sids interview it doesnt say anymore than the photos are by Adrian Boot and it was recorded in 1977 but Im looking for all kinds of pistols memorabillia so it doesnt matter...so as I get a copy of the satellite book I'll know a bit more about my current collection and will repost about the series Im looking for...

I have the Sid and Nancy VHS Copy but I know someone that could convert it to DVD For you. I also have the Sid and Nancy soundtrack. The VHS copy I have is in great condition. The DvD is going to be hard to find you could try Rhino Video but I doubt they would have it. IF you would like me to find out what it would cost to convert it for you PM me and I will find out for you. The Copy would be High quality etc... Plus if you are interested I have the only copy available now for "Dogs In Space". It's VHS as well but can be converted to DvD as well.

I can't remember if we actually got the criterion on sid and nancy or not...but if you are still looking for it...I would gladly burn ya a copy...then at least you'd have access to the extras...

I would love to get a copy of the Dvd for the extras....and a copy of "Dogs in space" as well....and Isis could I maybe persuade you to burn me a copy of the soundtrack when you have time? I really miss that Pouges tune "Haunted" its like one of my favortie parts in the movie if any of this costs anything let me know beforehand and I'll get ya some cash...My birthday comes up next month so I wanna take you guys up on these favors to expand my Pistols collection as a present to myself...Thank you two tho I didnt even know there WERE extras to Sid and Nancy and I hardly know anything about Dogs in space so it'll be new to me...We should get a few rounds next time were all out and see who's got what we might be able to help each other out with interview's..vinyl..etc..by the way I have a copy of "Rock and Roll high school" I want to get converted to DVD so I will be PMing about that....

i have one called (i think it's called anyway)
some product

some good stuff on there that i've lifted for sample material

i can't part with it though as i too am a huge fan
but mostly a johnny rotten fan to be specific

Iget that for sure..my collection is small but has enourmous sentimental value...The only thing I can let go of at this point is I have a spare vhs copy of "The Filth and the Fury" ....And yea Rotten made that fuckin band he's my favorite easily...Do you keep up with Pil? The music is so diffrent than the pistols stuff but its really good...Im sure you've been to Lydon's web site and checked out his Tv appreances and all that so you see the guys been working pretty hard since the pistols...I just wish I could grab a lager with the man and ask him some questions..there's so much I would like to ask...

though not rare

Thanks. If you can take a look Abreeskye, that would be cool. The Criterion has a commentary track and a few other features. The other version is just them movie.

A burned copy would be great - And this is an out of print movie we are talking about so there is nothing horribley unethical going on! Just let me know.

It was nice to see Swindle out on DVD, but I really can't remember if it was complete crap or not

Thank you so much! I'm so excited to finally have this. This disc has been my holy grail of DVD's for so long now. My DVD collection is now complete - save for new and future releases of course.

I definately owe you big for this.
